Solo runs of Pit tiers 70+ and Hordes 6+ should offer more top tier masterworking materials for solo players. Especially considering how lucky one must be to hit on the 25% rolls…and how many mats are needed per try…the thought of how many solo runs i have infront of me is nauseating.
So you want to take away all the benefits of being in a group, the sole purpose of forming a group mind you, to give solo players the same advantage? Seems a little backwards, but ok.

The only benefit of playing in a group should be enjoying the company of your friends. Not cheating and pretending that other people would have no issue with it.

well it isnt. i mean, if you perform nicely in the hordes, you get a ton of masterworking materials.
group play of course has its advantages, you can kill stuff faster etc.
so far most of the time i played the hordes solo. i personally consider the amount of rewards ridiculously high

I feel that being able to solo Tier 7 Hordes is an outlier. The vast majority of players will never be able to and unless I am mistaken, only Tiers 7/8 offer top tier MW mats.
I can solo Tier 7 but I do a fair amount of dieing…I complete only 2/3rds or so…and I’m a pretty good player with FULL gear…(Bone Spirit Necro, 275+ Max mana, Harl. Helm, etc.)

If blizzard goes this way, then we are going to he forced to not play in group.
Probably these kind of decisions are taken with data in hand. How many players play solo vs how many planera play in group?
I don’t know about this but for the love of god can we please get a group finder to automatically make groups for group play

I play solo and think it’s fine. Hordes are really rewarding. I’m honestly shocked they are this rewarding and they are getting a buff next patch. As a solo player in T7, I can fully masterwork a single piece of gear in one run.

I play solo exclusively and the masterworking mats aren’t my main problem, it’s the boss mats.

The game is currently absurdly tilted in the groupers/traders favor. They can narrow that gap by quite a margin and still leave grouping as the most effective way to play.

even t3 and 4, as i am not that good and stuck there, no matter how much i change things, nothing but garbage drops, no mythic and stuck with slow mat collecting is a major drag.

Your problem is that you are doing pits.
You can solo level 7 horde easily and get 500 neathiron average.
Pits are dead, you get more stones and mats from hords + other things.

Thats funny. Im the worst player of the world/universe. I did my first IH7 run today. Did not die and dont have a single uber or 12/12 items.
AND im the unluckiest peasant. Tormented bosses dont have any uber gear in my personal loottable. Confirmed by RNGsus himself today.
But i want some upgrades to my peasant gear. So im forced to create 10+ new characters and farm reputation. When im done doing this i will be send to a sanatorium.

Agreed. If we had matchmaking or a group finder then it wouldn’t be bad but people are doing group farm through Discord which is just cringe and embrassing on Blizzards behalf.
