We need better sources to farm gold. I dont want to have to use 3rd party trading websites to be able to afford to masterwork my gear.

Do 2 quick dungeons, get 5 whispers each then turn in, the gold drop from the whispers are good. Also, do NMD with Gold on them. Last season i junked them but this season seems i need to do them.

Whispers are the best/quickest source of gold.
Check the map for any lair bosses. Do those for 5 Whispers, no need to even have keys to get Whisper credit.
A quick Pit run can yield +5 Whispers, too. Takes 3 minutes.
SSF/no trading.
only people who think gold gains playing the game normally are fine is the ones who either bought it with their CC or traded to someone who did.
on topic: one of the best ways to farm gold ssf is running around on a horsey and hunting gilded baron goblins for 50-60 mill per.

Thanks, I have. Yes, 5m chunks to reroll eat into it, but there’s tons more gold out there to be had.
And again - I’m only P170. That’s barely 10% to P300. Plenty more playing if I want it.

para 250: i blew over 600 mill last night trying to 3x mw cd on a tals ring and didn’t get it. it took less than 5 mins to waste all that btw. mw will eat your mats so fast it isn’t even funny.

Is this really worth it?
I do not know any item (ok, maybe the doombringer with % life) where it would be a significant gamechanging increase in power if you hit a affix 3 times and not only one or two times.
Is it worth it?
Or is this more of a Monk Thing, where you (not specificly but general) calm down your inner demons to have a 3 masterworked affixes?
Edit: SSF and only rune trading 1:1
NM dungeons and whispers in combination and selling all these items, you will find. Especially the uniques.

To be fair 300m gold is literally nothing when getting into master working, add an auction house already. One of the best selling games of all time made by one of the biggest gaming companies of all time and we must use 3rd party sites to trade lol
So people really get out of gold but getting enough obducite is no problem for them?

Gold aside, obducite is weirdly easy to accumulate compared to veiled crystal, for me at least.
I don’t trade and the only gold I have is from farming. I am past Paragon 180 and have around 400 million. Probably spent 2 or 300 enchanting gear. That’s enough gold for me. My real problem is Obducite to Masterwork my gear. I have been running NMDs on T3 but I am not getting much from each run. I am not super-efficient doing Hordes and don’t get much there either and IH is not an activity you want to do multiple times in a row. Only found a couple of Tributes so far which were not great either.
It is going to take time…
