More difficulty not less

“Level scaling inside dungeons and most overworld territories has been adjusted in World Tiers III and IV. Monsters will begin to trail behind the player in Level after a certain point (up to a maximum of 5 Levels behind). This change does not affect World Bosses, Legion Events, Fields of Hatred, Helltide, or Nightmare Dungeons.
Developer’s Note: We want to give players a better sense of their power progression and mastery over the world while still challenging themselves with structured End Game activities.”

The above change just screams boring to me. I have a lvl 68 summon necro, not exactly meta, owning WT IV before this change. I don’t understand making it easier.

They lowered player power and buffed mob abilities to be more damaging.

I wouldn’t really say this equates to challenge, but it does prolong the runs you are doing so I suppose staying awake is part of the challenge.

But in reality the game has had zero challenge and you just deleted everything in your path since the start, holding especially true at 75+ once you have your gear mostly fine tuned.
