as long as streamers buy it with the money they get donated, blizz dont give a f****, they s*** on normal players, they get their money from expensions

I’m Australian you absolute spanner.

Meaning yes, the game did cost me $50.95, in my local currency. Those exist you know, not everyone pays for things in USD.

I’m not forced to buy a single piece. Doesn’t change the fact that if I want the complete set, that the price for all the items is $53.85 more than the price of the game itself. If your argument is “You’re not forced to buy so shut up.” then you can keep your mouth closed about D4 cosmetics, none of which you’re forced to buy to play the game.

And that’s not even touching on the supporter packs, the cheapest of which is A$30.75 with the most expensive being A$76.95

You came in here swinging, trying to claim that Last Epoch isn’t expensive. It is expensive, full cosmetic sets cost more than the current purchase price for the game. Now maybe that changes in the future. Maybe when the game goes into full release, the cost of the game will increase to compensate for the fact that it’s no longer in Early Access. IF that happens then cosmetic sets will be cheaper than the game, but not by much.

But as of right now, using the information we have available from the game itself, cosmetic sets are more expensive than the base game, which makes Last Epoch more expensive than Diablo 4 with respect to cosmetic sets.

I might get suckered into buying some platnium if the free track of the battle pass had some platinum to nudge me closer to buying the premium BP. But they don’t budge a bit, so I won’t. Their loss I guess.

I agree with you, the prices are literally insane for a full price game with a battlepass and full price addons. Someone in the marketing department lost touch with reality.

The difference in LE is that the game has content and second the skins in LE can be used on every class and not just on one specific class, so in Diablo 4 if you wanna use this new crystal skin from the shop you have to buy it 5 times if you wanna use it on every class. Same goes for townportals, sorry but Diablo 4 is going for maximal greediness.

Diablo 4 also has content, stop spreading BS.

As for LE, just ‘having content’ doesn’t excuse high MTX prices. If D4 had the same content as LE, you’d still be here saying that D4 MTX prices aren’t acceptable. And FYI, I did the math, at least for my own currency. A single complete cosmetic set in LE costs $53.85 (compared to the price of the base game, which is $50.95). If I wanted to buy the cosmetic set for each class, I would need to pay $269.25

By comparison, Diablo 4 costs $65.97 in my currency for the base game. A 2800 Platinum cosmetic set (which are the premium sets) costs me $37.45, meaning I could buy a cosmetic set for each class for $187.25

Now IF, and I stress the word if there, Last Epoch was F2P like Path of Exile, then I could ‘maybe’ justify expensive MTX skins. But for a game that you have to pay to access? Needing to pay more than the base game cost for a cosmetic skin is unacceptable, no matter how you slice it.

And I know, you’ll probably bring up the Diablo 4 mount package that currently costs more than the base game. And if it was just the Horse and the cosmetics? You’d be correct, that would be unacceptable. But that package comes with a significant amount of platinum that you can spend on the store on whatever cosmetics you want. So that gets a slim pass for that reason only.

Man there is barely any endgame content in diablo 4, how can people even act like there is some. I like the game and play it myself, but saying that there is endgame content is just pure denial and being delusional.

I have no idea where you get these weird numbers from, but lets break it down (I see you are using AUD, but this is an US forum so please use USD here). The soul eater skin (the only one you can get right now in the shop) costs $25 which pieces you can also all buy separately (boots=$5, gloves=$5, helm=$5, chest=$10). You can equip the set or pieces on every class, if I wanna do the same thing in diablo 4 I have to buy the set 5 times so that I can use it on all my classes, plus I also can’t buy the pieces separately.

So if I wanna buy this new crystal skin in diablo 4 which costs $26 it will cost me for all classes $130 in total. We do have here $130 vs $25, that’s quite a big differnce

I can even buy a townportal for $5 in LE and use it on every class, in Diablo 4 I have to buy all 5 towportals for $30 which then are even class specific, I can’t even chose on which class I wanna use my townportal.

Diablo 4 platinum prices are made the way that you will often have to pay more money than what the skin actually costs. If I wanna buy this horse armor for 1200 platinum I will have to pay this $15 instead of $12 cause there are not 100 platinum, I am forced to buy 1000 platinum + 500 platinum, so I am left over with 300 platinum which I can not even use in the shop unless I buy more platinum again. I am not able to buy most of the skins for the exact price, I have to spend more money for something what it actually costs. In LE points are exactly the same as what the items costs, skins matches the prices of the points you can buy, there are $5 and $10 cosmetics and you can buy 50 points which are equivalent to $5 and you can buy 100 points which are equivalent to $10.

The end game for Diablo 4 starts at level 50. End game content consists of nightmare dungeons, world bosses, legion events, whispers, helltides and the uber bosses that were added in Season 2. There’s also the seasonal content if you’re playing on seasonal characters, so for Season 3 that’s nightmare vaults and the uber boss, Malphas.

Now maybe you’re bored of that content, maybe you don’t like it so you just don’t do it. But that doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.

I’m Australian, I go by the shop prices that the game (and steam) gives me. Deal with it.

You forgot the back piece for an additional $10

Also I guess there’s some influence from Diablo Immortal, where Blizzard gets tons of money from abusive micro-transactions. From their perspective, it was a big source of funds

If you call this endgame content then I don’t wanna know what your definition of an arpg is.

And I am european and I still use USD here, this is an US forum and not an australian forum, so just do a minimum effort and use USD here.

Which still makes it $35 vs $130

It is end game content.

Again, just because you don’t like it, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.

Again, no. Deal with it.

I will post prices in my currency when I am discussing the prices I have to pay.

No it doesn’t, because you’re comparing a single cosmetic purchase to multiple cosmetic purchases, meaning you’re not arguing in good faith.

D4 Premium Cosmetics, and for this I will use USD, are $25. The price of Diablo 4 in USD? $69.99

LE Cosmetics, and again for this example only I’ll use USD, are $35. The price of LE in USD? $35

If you think the price points are somehow comparable, frankly, you’re an idiot.

He notated that it was australian currency. Other countries have other currency besides american currency in the world… welcome to the world, my friend. They exist. I know it’s scary to think Australia or China or the UK exists but it’ll be okay.

Dont mind them, there just the typical arze kisser for blizz, aka whiteknight. They will defend this steamy pile of crap until the bitter end when BARELY anyone is playing it, kinda like ya know “New world” LOL. Then these “EXACT” same people when everyone WITH a brain leaves this greedy pile of steaming CRAP, will ask " WhY nO pLaYeRs"?! “SeRvErS r DeAd” like NO KIDDING GEE… rolls eyes Anyways that was my point towards them. Their using Aud and the game is base of USD. Either way %100 agree to your post.

No shiet sherlock. HUR DUR ofc there is. I was referring to the game (Last Epoch) IN MY COUNTRY AS USD. god you folks… yikes… no wonder people dont post crap on the forums, ya’ll wanna be sarcastic D heads… facepalm Enjoy your steaming pile of crap. vomits

Yes! another thread about prizing

Dude D4 is platform for selling MTX, its minimal viable product to deliver that.

They will try to milk whale as much as possible, and as long as player will buy it, nothing will change.

Its more likely they update this game to RTS or FPS game than lowering MTX prices.

You don´t have to tell them, they are good aware of current state, and their marketin/finance is pretty good. Lowering price won´t attract any new players, only good gameplay change can… but that cost cost money… So from their point of view its better to continues with this maintenece mode and milk that few remaining player who for some reasson still play and pay.

NO one is saying it doesnt exist, dur. It’s weird AF and NO other ARPG does it like D4 (in a bad way). NO other arpg just goes Gee lets just STOP mid at the leveling point and put end game there?! Ya know the “Logical” way would to be to put it AT the “END” ya know because “END GAME” ffs. It’s not called “MID GAME” face desk Geeze. Anyways Im blocking you.

Exactly this %100! Between LE, and POE(POE2, when it comes out) it will BLOW this game out of the ocean(not a good way either… Season 4 is either gonna make D4 good or this game and company is done for.

Prices upset a few people?
Dude, you must be special if you really believe this.

No one thinks $20 for some cosmetics isn’t a completely ridiculous price.
Or $30 for some rainbow town portals.
In reality you people willing to pay that price are the 1%. Not us.

The problem is there are only a few people left playing this game and now you think you’re the majority.
You’re not.

The majority of the people have already stopped playing.
Guess what, they arent buying cosmetics either.

A lot of speculation in your post. Look up the public records for the quarterly earnings. That’s all I’ll say.
