Mobs stuck out of bounds, anyone seeing a lot more of this lately?

I’m seeing a lot of them with Subo’s ability and just got screwed out of finishing a dungeon because I can’t kill the last mob. I’m used to seeing it occasionally, but today it’s every dungeon multiple in some.

Its been happening quite a bit in my dungeons. Thankfully, I didn’t need to kill everyone to complete a dungeon… yet.

From what I’m reading it’s the chaos rifts causing it, they spawn cultists and there is not a position check when they spawn, so it will just drop one of them out of bounds if it’s near a wall.

yes, it happens more frequently than in previous seasons. in earlier ones, many mobs got stuck under the sand or dirt in the open world.

if not for using Subo to reveal that the last monster is stuck in a cave wall, i think players would be very frustrated not knowing where that final monster is hiding.

Early on wife and I went through a dungeon, we had 1 enemy left to kill and the messed up part? We could see the little bastard occasionally glitch in front of the wall he was stuck in, like it was taunting us. Nothing would hit him of course and he’d phase back into the terrain again. Was just very annoying.

And just got screwed out of an Escalating Nightmare sigil, good job Blizzard, Thumbs up!

I ran into a goblin that was stuck in a terrain during helltide.

Couldn’t touch it with twisters nor basic attack.
So i planted earthquake using moni tec and that did it.

I think its happening in general with common small mobs in dungeons. Once in a while I can see mobs i the walls here and there even when not doing “kill all” events. This seems to be a new but for this season. It has happened in the past of course but it’s returned in a heavy way this season.

Possible fix could be an official console command. (you have to look in the direction of the monster)

  • /unstuck

  • Which direction should the object be moved?

  • /sw

  • object will be moved to southwest in 5 secs

It happens very consistenly in dungeons with chaos rifts…almost like they did not test when they placed the rifts where the enemies exited.

If you see “slay all enemies” just got get another key, don’t waste your time.

In the “slay all enemies” you don’t even need subho, then it gets low they show you where the last ones are.

Yes, I’ve seen it quite a bit in various dungeons.

I saw this start happening a lot in Season 9. Mobs stuck in walls. It is not something ‘new’ in a Season 10 but it does seem worse.

I run almost exclusively with Subo so his ‘radar’ helps spot the issue immediately. I play on PS5 for the record.
I’ve started just dumping a dungeon if I see the 'kill all enemies requirement.

This also happens on occasion in the open world in cliffsides.

From Subo Sight™ I regularly see a single mob inside the walls next to the chaos rifts in NMD. They haven’t seem to affect me vs. “slay all enemies” rounds so I just ¯_(ツ)_/¯ and move on
