The game plays great with a controller, but I feel like an idiot for not playing with mouse and keyboard for the last 4 days. I’m can aim and move out of boss attacks more accurately with a mouse. Just my 2 cents. 
My two cents: It’s just as easy to do boss fights with KB/M.
I don’t understand where the issues are coming from in regards to that. I almost never get hit by avoidable boss fight mechanics using KB/M and their hitbox doesn’t present any issues for my mobility.
I’ve been playing both, and actually prefer controller. The only down side is mobility skills - Leap, Teleport, etc - have an ungodly short travel distance on controller. If you have no target and Leap just for mobility, you jump like 3 feet. There’s no way to aim it further across the screen. With KB/M I can Leap 4-5x as far. It’s silly.
My only complaint with controller is not being able to aim an ability like leap. Other than that it’s worth it to save myself the wrist pain haha

You have less control and accuracy with a controller. It’s more laid back and simple, yeah, but the auto target system controllers use is bad.

Controller targeting feels way more automagic and I think overall is a lot easier in many fights.
I’ve just played so much Diablo over the years that my brain is really good at kiting the mobs and firing off fireballs with the mouse. The controller is very comfortable, but I have a lot less control with it.
Some abilities are downright awful to use with controller because of how bad the targeting/aiming is. I love controller but it’s pretty frustrating in this game unfortunately. KBM is superior in almost every way
