Missing Localpref folder

So I have determined that I am missing or accidentally deleted my diablo 4 folder under documents are just have my diablo 4 folder in program files. Is there a way to get a new Localpref.txt file? I am pretty sure this is why my game wont launch.

I have reinstalled but it didn’t seem to create a new folder in documents

did you reinstall battle.net when you reinstalled the game?

Do a complete wipe of battle.net app

  • Exit Battle.net app completely
  • Task manager > end task all instances of Battle.net + Agent.exe
  • Uninstall Battle.net app
  • Delete all Battle.net Data (including battle.net tools folder)
  • Download + Install new Battle.net app
  • After you reinstall Battle.net App > Locate Diablo IV installation by clicking the Settings Icon located next to where the play button would be.
  • Since this is is a new installation of the app, ensure no anti-virus or firewalls are blocking the game from launching.

Just re-create the folder. The game will generate a new file when launched.

The folder should be located in Documents, and named:

Diablo IV
