Missed out on Moonshot Cosmetics

I was busy with life and other things that the event just went by without me being able to grind it so I missed out on the Cosmetics.

I think that events should just be either in the season from the start or they should just be available till the end of the season. Having to deal with so many different timed objectives with different timelines is super hard to deal with unless you only play one game.

so a christmas event should be available for 3 months for example?

a bnet and in game notification stated how long the event would last. Completing the event took about 1 hour. if you couldnt do that during the time, thats on on you i guess shrugs

If they had the events in the start the middle would feel even more empty.
I think they time it well to keep people logging in.

But what if you didn’t eat Breakfast.

Dude I’m sorry to disappoint you but some people completed this event in 10 minutes. Others in about a hour. You can complain for a lot of things right now but this is not it.

The places where they put the news is so cluttered with ads it’s a nightmare to even look at it, I only open Bnet when I want to launch the game and it auto closes when I run games because it affects the FPS.

The only place where I can actually see the events is on the map ingame.

If I were to use the Launcher I’d only use it if they cleaned it up so you can view only relevant information like Events, season time left and drops if any.

The time they completed the event in is irrelevant to this discussion.

So the whole hour it took to complete the event was too much time for you to find over a couple of weeks?

I missed out on the majority of the last season cosmetics that i will never use.

Don’t worry OP, there will be other events and other cosmetics.

Life happens….move on and don’t worry.

I went into a bar last week and happy hour had just ended 30 mins before I got there. But I was busy with life. Happy hour should be 24/7 to fit my schedule better.

heh heh hah hah hah hah hah! That was pretty funny. The whole event took 1 hour to complete. I’m sorry if you could not find 1 hour in your busy schedule over 2 weeks to get it done… I guess check back in one year and run the event again when it comes back.

Would have taken about an hour. If you can’t set aside an hour over the course of 2 weeks, what you were doing was obviously vastly important and you weren’t meant to have those transmogs. Not hating on you, just being realistic. It happens. You will get more events.

From what I’ve seen, cosmetics make you 100% more powerful when no other players are able to see your character, which appears to be 99% of the time in this online no lfg game :frowning:

Worry not. You won’t even give 2 :poop:s about what you missed out on after a while.

I went on vacation with my family and then missed the entirety of the Christmas event.

I don’t care, and don’t expect Blizzard to cater to my personal desires. I was busy doing more important things.

And if you don’t play much as it is - the cosmetics won’t matter to you regardless.

Showing up to the event is kind of a big part of receiving the event-only rewards.
You may not care about what little prestige that adds to a cosmetic item in a video game, but some people do.

I know when I put a NOS sticker on my vehicles, it adds at least 100 horsepower.

Limited time event is a um…yeah you get the idea.

FOMO got you bad bro, all good I don’t think you missed much.

I still have not ā€˜consumed’ my Lunar Mount.
Worried it’ll be bugged like some reports I’ve read and what happened to 2 of my friends.
It’s better to have missed an event than completed it and not gotten what was expected due to errors and bad coding.

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to post the I ā€œMissed outā€ thread. :sob:
