Minion stats that are shared? (Necro and druid?) Crit? Attack?

I’m confused what stats impact minions. (There are certain exceptions where you EXPLICITLY take talents to have thorns on minions.)

Like if I get attack speed, does that impact their attack speed?

Critical hit that impact their critical hit?

Or is it only “+ damage to crwod controlled enemies” and “+damage” direct modifiers?

Help pls D:

We know they get 30% of crit chance and attack speed (or theyre supposed to) because the loading screen prompt says so.

Beyond that, its hard to say. We have almost no concrete information on what adds to minion damage. And on top of that, its thought that many minion bonuses seem to be bugged and not working at all.

I can confirm that my minion damage went up significantly when i slotted emeralds into my weapon.

Im also pretty sure, from my own testing, that life on kill affects minions.

Critical strike damage, attack speed, weapon speed, weapon damage, vulnerable damage, main stat damage, increased damage to vulnerable, all work.

From my testing it seems critical hit, crit damage, attack speed, and weapon damage are applied at 30%. Weapon speed is the same for them as you. Vulnerable, main stat, and increased vulnerable are applied at 100%.

Thorns is only affected by main stat damage. Needs more testing for vulnerable but I don’t think so. Needleflare aspect does not seem to work on thorns applied by minions.

Thorns and thorns from minions seems to increase with physical damage, close damage, injured etc

  • int
  • minion attack speed
  • vulnerable dmg (you need to apply vulnerable status to the monsters ofc)
  • crit chance
  • crit dmg

i found those to be the only things that really do anything for minion dmg - at least for necro

They get all of your stats basically, and some at a nerfed level. Alot of your stats they get at full value.

There is no official list. Here is a thread capturing them.

One thing he has wrong is that minions actually get 100% of your crit damage.

Life on Kill does work for your minions and is actually working. Skeletons will heal themselves if they manage to kill what they are attacking, THAT may be a tall order for them though lol.

So I’m building my own minion build without following YouTube or other guides.
I’m stacking: % Minion Life, % Minion Dmg, Intellect, Dmg Slowed Enemies (also using Decrepify for that), Dmg to enemies under Shadow Dmg. Plus I have 6 reaper warriors, 6 mages and the blood golem.
Am I doing good or no? Is it ok to stack Intelligence or that is just used for my skills. Since I’m using only Blight to amplify their dmg and to regroup enemies I don’t want to stack int and then it doesn’t affect minion dmg.

yes seems good

int is huge for minion damage because it is multiplicative

you also want vulnerable because its also multiplicative

so a skill that applies the vulnerable status on enemies is mandatory as is high int

Crit and crit damage works, I am using corpse tendril with aspect of grasping veins to get a crit in every pull so my skirmishers get their gauranteed crit with 50% csd. It is chunking for about 15,000 at level 70. I know corpse tendril is bugged and enabling overpower to crit so this might also be a big allowing my skeletons to crit for more than they should. It doesn’t make sense how they go from non critical at 1.5-2k to criticals of 15k.

I am also taking every conceivable damage amplifier I can get besides shadowblight. I feel like using corpse tendril every 3-6 seconds and having gauranteed critical strikes plus perma invulnerable and crowd control on non elites is overpowered and consistent with nearly zero build up time. Make a corpse and start the chain cc. With the stun and cold mage freeze elites generally don’t move after being cc’d or die before becoming unstoppable. This is only on tier 17-21 wt3 though. The moment I step into wt4 I struggle to keep my minions alive. Trying to level into full 725+ gear to test a more end game summoner.

I’m an alt a holic so I spend too much time theory crafting and seeing what class I want to play season 1.

So…is Decrepify usefull or not? I don’t use Tendrills at all :frowning:

Tendrils is a 60x multiplier on Criticals which is why I use it. Abhorrent decrepify is what allows me to use golem, corpse tendril, and army of the dead off cool down.
