Currently cleared 76. Trying a bunch of stuff but stagnating hard. I want a build where skeles do a good chunk of dam and its not all just the Blood Golem, but its seeming like thats the only way.
What tier Pit have you cleared?

I’ve cleared 94 and unlocked 96, but im missing blighted aspect and aspect of the damned still as well as still playing around and tweaking my build. I didn’t really have time on the PTR to make a build so my build has been made rather hastily on a planner and then semi implemented in game.
I find clearing is the easy part, its the bosses who take ages as my damage is meh. Im not using the holy bolt elixir though as I heard its quite overpowered or buggy.
Im playing around with have high dodge for damage mitigation and healing, while stacking damage reduction with golem, sent of death, tyreals might and hardened bone. Unfortunately its not really paying off as just a few more multipliers would sky rocket my damage so I don’t need to survive.
my solution is get hit by well over 50% of boss abilities because im old and slow, but survive because I have overdone my tanky stats at a huge loss to damage.
Then the truly one shot boss abilities, I try and dodge them i’m successful about 50% of the time. When I say dodge, i mean stack dodge on gear and get hit by the mechanic because i’m slow and old… did I mention that already?
I personally would like the boss fights in the pit to have half the current HP and then have the dungeon monsters have double or more HP. Im not a fan of really long boss fights and it also feels like we are being forced into stacking every single multiplicative multiplier.
I want to use coldbringers aspect for example because its cool! but its just bad. Im already kinda self nerfing by playing with tyreals might because its cool… when really I just cannot afford the aspect slot loss.
Everytime I try 54+ I get 1 shot by literally anything on the final boss.
Resistances capped, armor capped, over 35k hp.
Both builds have the damage, though I’d say my blight build feels -much- stronger right now damage wise (it’s also masterworked to 4x, none of the minion gear is).
I’d consider playing around with it more, but it’s seriously expensive to swap back and forth.
I made a second necro for a wither build. Leveling is so quick that it’s easier than changing builds back and forth. I’ve done pit 60 so far and survivability is way better with shielding storm.
He’s only level 90 and has like 18k life but can face tank elites. Bosses will always one shot I guess.
Damage isn’t great but I haven’t upgraded much and don’t even break 2k int.
T109 without Holy Bolt (I don’t use it…). Here’s a somewhat sloppy T105 vs Blood Bishop where I had happy feet with movement and straight up whiffed on some golem active abilities like a super noob. I had just woke up and consumed a bit too much coffee.
I’m currently still rocking Frenzied Dead but may kick it for Inner Calm when I get more attack speed to cap without it.
I’m now up to 104 without HB. The last 25% of bosses are a real drag when you get spammed by multiple boss abilities.
My hate for Hellbent Commander is beyond description. Minions deal half damage if you don’t stand near them, which isn’t great with the current bullet hell bosses.
Yeah they turn into a horrible slog because it’s very difficult to stay on the boss and dodge all the fire. The variance depending on cloned boss mechanic combo is enormous too. Minion leash range in particular compounds matters…
I get the feeling little thought or consideration was put into the tuning of tiers past 100. It’s as if the scaling was allowed to run wild.
That too… I hate this skill. Absolutely hate it. It’s sooo restricting… Gotta remain up near targets to fully leverage it and that tends to be where much of the fire goes.
I run in circles watching my feet and blighted stacks hoping I get the chance for a small burst window using blood mist to stand near the mages (who run around in circles, too)
You guys are crushing it, I only just did 107 today also like everyone else without holy bolt elixir.
What is nice though, I have so much damage mitigation I can just stand in the middle of packs with no problem and survive shadow boss mechanics if on full hp. Though I do try to avoid them incase they double up with something else. 50% dodge also is great, as even if u fail, u only have a 50% chance of actually failing still. I just obviously lack a hell of a lot of damage due to no blighted aspect.
I am still not using blighted aspect and shadowblight though, I tried it but I really don’t like the game play of spamming corpse explosions and I cannot quite get my minions to stack it themselves as I would need shadow melee skeletons for that or it stacks far to slow, and I dont have the aspect slots.
What I am finding very annoying though, uber lilith my damage is not high enough, but if it wasnt for the stupid stack you get from failing mechanics I could literally tank and spank her in both phases. Sadly im going to have to get some gear just for her, so i have the move speed and burst to skip most mechanics.
