Hi there I went and filed ticket request through Battle.net they sent me here. Hopfully I am in the right place.
Mini Belial is not spawning or refusing to spawn for me. Ive done the seasonal quests. Talked to the NPC that mention Belial can ambush me. I allocated points toward his spawn (max 80%) with Ashes. Im on Torment 2 and Torment 3. When opening the Lair Boss hoard I see a timer (Belials countdown thing) then it immediately vanishes. As I wasted nearly 800+ boss lairs materials with no success as the bug keeps appearing and preventing his spawn. Me and my wife made a video of it but I have no idea how to send it to Blizzard and Friends.
Would greatly appreciate someone looking into this.

6 hours later same issue. Haha other then seasonal questline no Mini Belial spawn has spawned after opening Lair Hoard. I see the timer but it vanishes afrer 1 second

I got the same issue playing solo, i’m on rogue. When I’m in a group the timer dissapears as soon as I open the hoard.
Yep i get the same issue with party or solo. Would LOVE to fight the guy but again cant.
This is still happening for me. Timer disappears instantly. Anyone have any luck finding a solution?

I had the same issue for a while, before fighting bosses turn your pet off and when u open the box at the end dash away for some reason picking up loot and even just the gold will bug the spawn timer for mini belial to spawn

Yes, it’s a bug. after i emptied the ashes for belial spawn, it works normally, just dont level up the summoning belial.
yeah same issue here. First time playing since launch when there was the druid unique bug going on and right when i get back on games still bugging w/o them saying anything. Really discouraging
I still don’t have the seasonal achievement. I have not seen one mini Belial spawn in at least 300 Belial kills as well as many other boss kills. I’m not doing anything wrong. I know what I’m doing and don’t need advice. It’s bugged for some players. Why? Please fix.
Are they just not fixing this? I can’t find any updates anywhere and it’s still occurring.
It’s still happening. I’ve probably used 50 pops in the last few days. No mini-Belial. Funny thing is, he just suddenly stopped popping. The fact that he had been popping and suddenly stopped, suggests the need for a server reboot, and of course to debug this issue as well. Given the abysmal drop rate of greater affixes and mythics on any other lair boss, this issue needs fixed ASAP.
Still bugged. I see the timer start for a split second and then it disappears. The fact that I can find no blizzard responses regarding this is concerning. I used to be a huge Blizzard fan, but these bugs are just getting too annoying lately….especially when their competition is releasing better games with fewer issues. Come on Bliz…you can do better

there is no bug as far as i’m aware.
it’s just that belial ambushes are very rare. I have done over 600 boss runs (everything minus harbinger) and the average spawn ratio was about 1 in 20 runs.
the 80% chance increase is based on the probably 3% base chance, so it brings it to about 5% chance of spawn. Hence 1 in about 20 runs.
I thought this was a bug as well before i started doing a crapton of boss runs non-stop. Just this memorial weekend i’ve done over 300
