Me and a friend on their account started the game just moments ago (11/19/2024 9:47pm MST) and when my friend clicked on the gifts from the bard, my friend (player 2 ) got the gifts but i did not on my account and i do not understand why this is happening. I had my friend quit the game and i went on solo and even restarted to try to fix it and nothing is working.

The same thing happened to me. I was not able to claim the reward even though my partner was able to as my 2nd player. I need this fixed so I get my caches too.

I’m just really disappointed. I love playing this game, but this season it seems that they really don’t care about the couch coop players on consol. Several bugs or things we can’t do that weren’t fixed. Like Infernal hordes bugging so much I don’t want to do them. Only one of us getting the experience well. And now this, all that cool loot, the best caches all season and I’m just left out? It’s too much. And I spend money on the game, we both bought the expansion, i wanted the pets and cosmetics. I also buy mounts and cosmetics for my characters. So if they think we don’t matter bc we aren’t spending money they’re wrong. We’re both adults with expendable income who play as a hobby.

Agreed! What’s the point of buying two copies of the game and expansions if one person is always going to get screwed out of half the benefits? It’s wildly frustrating and the fact that you can’t report a specific bug with your account (having to come here to essentially scream into the void) is maddening too.

Same i just had my boyfriend claim his rewards and then went to claim mine and it says i already claimed them despite me not getting anything, genuinely disappointing and actually ridiculous that because we play together in a game made to be played together, that we get punished for it because it was in couch co-op

I’m kinda having the same problem…I think. I made a new sorcerer after I boosted another existing character. Boosted the sorc, but no caches offered, and I cannot, for the life of me, get rid of the health pot boost quest text or icon. Blizz…yeah

Husband and i play couch play and own the game each, he claimed the reward and it didnt allow me to do so, said i already recieved it when i did not. We play on Playstation. Please fix

We also had the same issue. This is how divorces start. Please fix it so this isn’t lorded over me for eternity that I hit the cache first

I feel that. I’m not going to lord it over him, I started off with guilt maybe. But now I’m refusing to play unless they fix it. Why play a game and spend money on it if they aren’t going to support it by fixing their bugs? Ofc he’s not too happy about that since he got everything. I told him he was welcome to play alone.

Same here… happened to my wife while playing couch coop on PS5… now I have to sleep on the couch! Kidding aside, this isn’t the first time this kind of bug happened. Before, she couldn’t get any Infernal Hordes Compass… after a few patches it somehow got fixed… but the Midwinter Ward bug for couch coop is now the new problem… I was streaming so will post a clip of the incident…

Same here… my wife is happy with all the chests and I‘m without the option to click at it…. I’m curious how blizzard will fix this

Just want to add to the pile so the devs might take notice. I got the reward, my wife didn’t. When either of us activate the ward now, it doesn’t even give an error message. This is on Xbox couch co-op.

This happened to us as well (PS4). I (P1) claimed the gift first, then when my wife tried it said that the gift was already claimed. Logged out, restarted, and no difference. Between this sort of thing and the ongoing Hordes problems, co-op is becoming an unpleasant experience and has us on the verge of quitting.

Just happened to me and gf playing couch co-op. She hit it first and now I get nothing. Sort it out blizzard.
Same here. We have to copies of the game (PC) plus one for XBox. In couch-coop, my husband could claim the gift, I can’t claim it. Neither on console in a solo game nor via my pc account. That’s pretty annoying. Please fix it, I want my gifts, too.
