while im reading trough a lot of these posts a lot of people are defending payed skins and cosmetics they are just very much pathetic and yes im attacking you dogs, its almost like if your gonna say a bad thing about it they are gonna take your toy away. Wake up people blizzard takes advantage of a lot of people! maybe not you and me who can keep their money in their wallet but still this is not how a game around loot should work ! back to Diablo 2/Diablo 2 resurrected peeps.

damn your part of the problem and your proud of it aint you ?

we thank you for flying with us
i see, sad world.. dogs and then this kind of crap people that just dont care at all about the game and come trolling around on a forum. then again Diablo 4 crap game wich dont know how to work with loot.
Skins are NOT micro transactions. They are MACRO transactions. Since you can only equip it per class, 25 bucks for 1 skin for 1 class is BS. Yes i did buy a few but most look like
. 1 skin is like half the full game price. Not worth it to buy them all.
Please learn what a MICRO transaction is before you open your mouth.
Remember to āspell checkā your posts or you wont be taken seriously.
i edit still you did understand and choose to nag its a forum not a lawsuit.. then again no one should protect this its pure greed
I donāt think thereās anyone that would prefer to pay for skins over them being free in game. But sadly the economics of the gaming industry have changed and micro transactions, even if they are not so micro, just arenāt going away. So itās not so much a defense of it but an acceptance of it.
What I will say though is no one is being taken advantage of. They are entirely optional, the game doesnāt break if you donāt buy one, you donāt unlock access to in game content with them they just make you look pretty. Lacking the will power to not spend the money is not the same as being taken advantage of.
well, you are too, as you purchased a game that was pretty open and clear abozt having a cosmetic store.
How starved for attention are you in your every day life? Like on a scale from 1 to 10?
Microtransactions ruin gaming, because they break the 4th wall. Putting MTX in a game is anti-immersion
Only if you open it. You donāt get pop-ups in the game asking you to buy stuff. You have to open the menu and go to the store section to even see it. And even then itās some woman waving her hands around as if sheās a real merchant so even that part is immersive. So the anti immersion argument doesnāt really hold any weight.
Except itās because of them that the characters/classes & their skills are broken and almost useless ![]()
If you open the map, 2 entire menu tabs are dedicated to microtransactions. Itās explicit advertisment in the game. If they wanna sell cosmetics, they should do so outside of the game in the launcher or in the platform store like steam, not in the game UI itself.
If you wanna say āDonāt like it, donāt look at itā, sure, but then make it possible to not look at it, right, by removing it from the game interface.
This exactly this
Maybe Iām missing something. I havenāt logged in for a week or more. 2 tabs? I only see one store tab. Unless you mean the season journey?
but really my point was immersion is a pretty lame reason to not do something in a game. There are so many immersion breaking things. Like any confirmation dialogue or that there is a exit game/sign out button. Or when my cat walks infront of my screen.
How does this track? MTX has nothing to do with the development side of game. I think you may be confused on exactly what each team does over there.
You really think if all the efforts on MTX hadnāt been put in the game would still be the
pile it is now? Dude pull the other leg itās shorter!

You do realize MTX are created by third parties right? Please tell me you know this. So all the devs have to do is shove it into the game once itās completed.
Even if it was worked on in-house, that would be the art team, not the systems and design team. You really have no clue how video games are created in large companies do you?
This isnāt some indie studio with 1 to 6 people doing all the work. It quite literally has teams assigned to each individual system. Yes there may be some overlap, but the dungeon designer isnāt working on class balance.
do you really expect him to know anything?
