This is a cry for help. I would like to address the main issues with this build. I noticed that the meteors impact randomly around a specific area, missing the primary target when using either Starfall Coronet or the Shattered Stars aspect. This is one of the reasons why meteor builds thrive in clearing mobs but struggle to kill elites or bosses. Another reason is that we don’t have any damage-oriented mythics that compliment Starfall Coronet. We can’t use Ring of Starless skies because meteor is now on a cooldown. We can’t use Heir of Perdition because Starfall Coronet is a helmet. Not only that, but we lose the meteor enhancements (not that they’re any good anyway). We need better uniques that reward us for using Starfall. It feels like we’re being punished for using the helmet, almost as if it were too strong for our own good. We need better aspects. We need meteor-oriented legendary nodes in the paragon board. We just need more damage. It is so frustrating that I have all level 100 glyphs, perfect roll on the Starfall aspect, a 1.09s cooldown on meteor, perfect aspects, fully upgraded gear, and I still cannot compete with other classes or builds that aren’t even 70% perfect. We don’t have a meteor weapon unique. The Spear of Lycander is utterly useless because it only procs after killing elites. The problem is we CAN’T kill elites at high difficulties. Too much of our damage relies on crowd controlling the target. Bosses can’t be crowd controlled so we are missing out on so much damage. All those damage boosts to CC’d targets is wasted until the boss becomes staggered for a short duration. Meteor sorc was so beautiful in D3 and it pains me to see it go down like this.
