Like it sounds good until they start trying to “sing” it just sounds like they got a cheese grater and rubbed it a few times against their throat and vocal cords. Outside of that, it sounded good.

There are some metal subgenres that have clean vocals and there are some bands that dabble in both (sometimes even in the same song – Opeth does this, they’re literally Tool but prog-metal instead of prog-rock).
But generally speaking, that kind of gutteral presentation is part of what defines metal. It’s harsh by design.

That the post I liked of yours, the first vid was nice, probably gonna favorite that one and look more up from them.
Just not a fan of the overly throaty vocals… feels to me like metal/rocks version of mumble rap.
