Wheres the mercenaries at?
Diablo 2 had them on launch, core game.
Noticed Diablo 4 is very solo type game, I need some companion to play while soloing.
This game doesn’t have a group finder, dungeon finder, etc. No raids, no group content.
So soloing here, help me enjoy this game more. I need a merc.
Wish Season 1 had mercs instead of these caged hearts.

In the LFG subforum. All those looking to get paid gold for services. Quite a bit smarter than the NPC ‘bots’, but a fair bit more expensive in digital gold too.
I could use a full on amazon class resurrected with lightning javelins.
Honestly, with all the things that D4 is lacking in, mercs are the least of our problems with the game.
Cut from the game just like set items, runes, and everything else that’s good from d2. Presumably so they can sell them to you in the next two expansions so it seems like you get all your toys back. Then Blizzard devs don’t have to be creative and come up with new innovative ideas and concepts. It’s just easier to resell you ones d2 devs came up with 2 decades ago.
