This mythic is not popular because defense is unimportant in D4.
Jokes on them… I just wanted a spark since my first Uber Lilith kill was bugged. They said they couldn’t restore the item but this dropped. I can’t wear a spark while I hunt for more! Lol

What about Andariel’s Visage? Was good last season for some Rogue builds but was nerfed.
Any fun to play builds that could use it this season?
No 3GA Ancestral of 4 GA Unique for me this season but 2 4 GA Mythics: Ahavarion Staff and Andy’s Visage. This is my lucky season I guess.
Well this amulet is making it easier for me to survive the harder torments.
Andariel’s Visage is strong only with one Centipede Build of the Spiritborn on S7, the build with Touch of Death + Devourer + Noxious resonance with the Jacynth Chest
But Andariel’s Visage is for me B-tier at the same page than Tyrael’s Might. It’s situational or niche build.
Ahavarion and Selig definetly need a huge rework of their stats because how their … useless (excepted Selig Mythic bonus, still very strong for survivability)

Don’t listen to the naysayers. You can build around Melted Heart. My current WW/QuakeDevil build is doing Pit 95 and I main a 3 star Melted Heart. Are there some builds like mine that can push higher? Yes. Significantly higher? No. Are they as tanky as I am? No. Do your own theory crafting before you just salvage something because “everyone else says”.
Remember, most people follow Meta and Guides. They don’t do a lot of self theory crafting, testing, or experimenting. So they don’t actually know what’s good, or what can be.
On another note, if you’re going to main a Selig you should definitely pair it with a Dual Wield skill and a good roll Ramanaldi’s and take advantage of the Max Fury boost, and boost your Max Fury any other way you can fit into your build.

Last season the wining combo was Shako, Tyrael and Starless Ring. Starless is still useful but Shroud and Perdition have replaced the others. I was started to believe that only damage matters now. It is good to know that defensive items can still be useful.
I still use Shako with Shroud. In fact I prefer it.
Shako’s still good. I am using Heir for my Fireball Sorc but Shako for my Blood Surge Necro, despite most guides suggesting Heir as BIS.
