Kinda rage quit today nightmare dungeon…
On my necromancer ranged build i could at most times solo 10 15 lvls above me while i was leveling, its much easier to dps mobs from a far, and avoid the crap circles on the ground while doing dps… cc can still be annoying at times when you reach higher lvls wt4+ but its doable expecialy if you use cc removal skill.
Now on my wolf druid, i can also dps mobs 10 15 lvls higher then me, I did complete the cap stone dungeon to unlock wt4 at lvl 63 without much trouble… I am now lvl 70 and my gear is all almost all 700ish+ im decided to solo nightmares of about same lvl as me to about 5 lvls higher… and some are just painfull hell… Not because i dont got the dps… but because i can barely stand in place enough time to dps the mobs… there either a endless CIRCLE pool of crap to dodge in so narrow spot maps, or chain cc… Im using 2 cc removal skills one even give me unstopable… I got very high cc duration reduce on my build. yet at times im constantly frozen / stunned… with barely any spot to move on and having to backtracks, wait without dpsing till the mobs decide to move out of all the crap on the ground… So every fight taking 10xlonger as melee at same lvl then with my ranged necro doing 10levels higher…
Either way, Im not top player at anything, and I know i can still improve my character and do better in it and keep lvling /climbing… I just wanted to tell of my experience so far, and how diferent it felt to play both, and how much more sweaty it feels to play a melee class
So yeh i got bored of it today, gona chill play something else for a bit… this game as been a bag of mixed fellings, some things are so nice and well done, and others are utter crap, feels like devs didnt play/test theyre game enough… or they got very diferent idea then my on whats considered fun/challenging… Back later anyways. Hopefully they sort some of this dungeon annoyances…

I realized a while ago that there is no point in trying for a full ranged build. The best builds for all classes are melee range.
Ice sorc? Melee range for Frost Nova.
With mob density and AI, you are going to have a group of mobs in your face no matter what.
One, do you have Bone Prison?
Two, have you completed Rimcscar Caverns?
Well sorry im not here to discuss what build best or not, every build should b viable and its not atm due to vulnerability crap… also ranged skill can hit at melee range and a melee skill cant hit at a range… so a full ranged build would still b more viable then full melee build… my point is a bit that both and every build should b kinda viable… its play how we want right :P? the issue for me is not builds per say anyways but on the monsters, some seem way overtunned in terms of damage ie wraiths or cc ie the frozen dudes, and being one shot from outide your screen or being constant cc is not fun, expecialy if you trying for a full melee build, on nightmares where there is already so many circles on ground to dodge…
Haha its not even just vulnerability, plenty of skills are just way too weak, have 0 synergy, cost too much resource
They have no clear baseline for damage that they are balancing around
I am beginning to wonder if their are any mobs in the game that don’t chain ice CC. That is at least 90% if what I am seeing
yeh i just gave a small example and my prespective on it, hopefully they will sort stuff better and make it more enjoyable for all… also heard ressistances arent working as inteend… and also yeh lol in nightmares alot of the mobs I see are chain ice cc or wraiths, makes you wonder where all other mobs go!!
and lovely when you get them with supressor or damage reduction 
Either way i hope they tune down cc on some of this monsters, or make it so if player got stun cant get stun for next 2 secs or if player got frozen cant get frozen for next few secs, or something of the sort…
This way they wouldnt need to nerf cc, you still get some but coulndnt b chained so got a chance of escape. so yeh dunno just an idea anyways
