Maybe someone here can help me

So i was playing on my pc earlier in day and when finished closed out game. Tried logging back in 2 hrs ago and it wouldnt let me play. So i uninstalled game and nowntheres no option to reinstall game even though its in my library. Any advice would be helpful and thx in advance

Going to need a little more information. Are you using the Battle.net Launcher, the Microsoft Game Pass, or are you going from Steam?

Battle.net launcher. Ive tried manually deleting the d4 folders and battle.net ones as well and uninstalling and reinstalling battle.net launcher. As well as changing my cogs from Americas to Europe but still no luck

So basically you click the Diablo 4 game icon at the top, and there’s just no ‘Play’ button? Did you actually purchase the game? There was a free trial that should’ve ended today.

Blizzard has announced players can try out Diablo IV for free between September 19 and September 23.

Your characters were capped out at level 20 though, but you won’t lose any progress if you decide to purchase the game and continue playing.

Yes ive owned it since April 4th on PC thru battle.net launcher. Also ive been playing d4 on my PC since June when i got a new one. I switched from console to PC and had to purchase game for PC and did so thru battle.net launcher

Sounds like a purchasing issue that conflicts with the free trial. Not exactly sure why though.

Make a ticket here with support. Hopefully you’ll get a live person, but no one on these forums would be able to help if it no longer shows up on your account.

Much appreciated. Yet again i have an issue and you help out. I did fill out a ticket. Just threw a message here in case someone else had this issue before. Blizzard said someone will respond within 24 hours. I shall wait patiently til then and just play on my xbox. Or maybe itll be resolved when i wake up. Ty again and enjoy your night or day

Odd as it sounds, do you still have the game installed? Have you tried going to the games folder and just launching the game from there? I have mine located under the F: drive myself, so it would be under F:\DiabloIV and under that folder are two .exe files, see if either of those do anything for you. It may just pop up the launcher again without a play button, but it’s worth a shot at least.

I notice there was no direct answer to whether or not it shows a ‘Play’ button. I’d be most curious to find out what it shows “down there” where the Play button should be. (And if you click the settings cog next to that, does it show options to ‘Modify’ or ‘Uninstall’?)

Also, the Bnet launcher is buggy as hell. Not sure if you reinstalled it using the official link, but pasting it here just in case (Windows). It should attempt to update/repair if it’s already installed:

A much simpler possibility (not mentioned yet) is you might’ve been logged into the wrong account at the time.

I think u might need to wait for lazy loaf or the devs to reply. They seem to be the most available on here

Nah i had completely uninstalled it. But thank you once again. I ended up just turning itnoff and unplugging everything. Ill wait on reply from blizzard.

Lazyloaf isn’t a dev though, just another forum poster. Also devs do not reply on this forum, CMs do, but usually not in cases like these. Opening up a support ticket is typically the best way to go.

Yep. Still no luck. However i bought itnon console too so have just been playing that way. Hopefully when new season and update come out itll be fixed.
