  1. Have you considered adding item sub-types to give us more options for how we build our character? Specifically items with different implicit affixes, like a dagger with crit dmg as a choice instead of swords or a staff with vulnerable dmg instead of crowd control dmg baked in. It also opens up transmog when your not tied to a specific weapon type for performance reasons!

  1. Could we see itemisation choices that provide opportunities to build into sustainable barriers, low life benefits or heavy avoidance as mitigation options? The removal of most forms of DR have pushed us to basically just stack health for defense once you meet the armor and resistant caps. Its very one dimensional and feels just like a quota of armor/res to hit then stack all the health.

Hello there, dear Dev Team!

Great work! I have a question about the new Tempering Mechanic:

You are now allowing us to change skills over new affixes that we can add through tempering (for example: AoE of Frost Nova etc). I hope you wont change much on those affixes when S4 goes live, because the choice is great: Taking more AoE/projectiles and functionality, or damage/cooldown - is a great style of customization.

My question: will you be adding more of skill-customization options in the future and expand those affixes so we have more decisions besides Unique items?

1- The basic affix pool for gear has been considerably reduced, and affixes as +%damage seem almost mandatory. Any plans to add other affixes that can compete with these?

2- Any plans to make the shop more accessible? Fortunate finds are no longer in the game, will they be back?

Are there plans to streamline the bossing system? I.E. removing ladder, simplifying material requirements and standardizing entry?

  • Vashran requires four different materials but other bosses require one. Duriel requires two different materials.
  • Reduce summoning materials to one type for each. Every boss drops the same material to progress towards Duriel.
  • Make all boss like Beast in Ice. Use materials to craft a summoning sigil.
  • Use Stygian Stones inside dungeon to enable higher difficulty encounter

With S4 bringing significant itemization updates, what is the team prioritizing next?

Are there plans to overhaul Nightmare Dungeon events? Events are redundant and share the same experience.

Are there plans to overhaul the UI?

Will the team provide information on affix weights? Enchanting and tempering odds are skewed.

Are there plans to implement quest memory to avoid repetitive experiences with side quest items and dialogues every season?

Lore wise, does having Body Type customization for every class inhibit the Amazon class from returning?

Any plans to improve group play? Wife and I play together all the time and would be great if we could see what progress the other one is on or share quests rather than shouting over the room to each other as we do now.

Also any chance of being able to copy your emote setup to other characters? It’s a pain re-setting it up each new char.

Visual Tech/Art Direction question: Is it possible (or is there interest) to add a true dynamic Day/Night cycle into the game with all the shifting shades and colors that change throughout the days and evenings?

Can we please get an option to hide Sheathed Weapons in the Wardrobe, much like Helmets still give you stats even if they present as Unequipped?

I want a Barbarian who only carries a two-handed sword on his back, but still has the stat-sticks. I just want them invisible.
Make them appear only in my hands if I am using a skill that leverages that weapon. Otherwise, when sheathed, I want those other weapons INVISIBLE. Thank you!

On the whole I am very happy with the upcoming itemization changes but I feel like the concerns over there not being enough gear slots for Aspects haven’t been addressed at all. It’s especially frustrating when some classes have access to more items than others. Solutions would be to either even the playing field or introduce a Kanai’s Cube type system to game.

On another note, are there any plans to improve skill visuals? They’re very lackluster and feel dated. D2’s remastered abilities look so much better by contrast, as do D3’s.

Has there been any consideration to add an indicator that shows if an aspect is already imprinted on a piece of equipped gear? Mostly useful in the imprint interface but could also be useful in the collection view also.

Would be a nice QoL improvement to prevent wasting mats.

Up until this point, +Ultimate Skill Damage on items and gems doesn’t affect ALL ultimate skills. Why is that?

Would it be possible to have chat notifications when you attack and defeat an Elite/Boss/Treasure Goblin? Like in Diablo 3. Or when you get a buff or lose it again?

In World Tier 4, we often encounter a monster with a purple’ish aura that provides damage reduction to all other mobs in the area, which needs to be targeted first ideally. Are you planning on adding other aura colors, such as for example a green one that makes all enemies nearby vulnerable for a number of seconds, a blue one for damage reduction for yourself, a red one that slows nearby mobs, and so on?

To always single out the purple aura’d one becomes a bit repetitive, and perhaps this can add some more tactical gameplay if some combinations appear (as long as the aura’d monsters do not affect each other), and the ones that can benefit you could also be introduced in earlier world tiers to make leveling more fun (as you can trigger some effects you normally would need higher item levels and paragon nodes for). Regardless, hitting mobs to no avail as a purple aura’d monster is hiding in the corner of another room can be tedious, and variation is the spice of life.

Are you planning on adding new pigments any time soon? Black and white would be nice

Would it be possible to have the “wings of the creator emote” stay up indefinitely, until canceled? I love how it looks but it saddens me that I can see it for 5-10sec at a time press a button and click on another button to make it come up again for 5-10sec. Thank you!
