Does anyone know what the ranks will be if you triple masterwork (orange color) a GA conjuration mastery that starts at 6?
Is there a good calculator that shows this? I heard maxroll had one for uniques but could not find it.

10 ranks, but ideally you crit CDR to conjuration 3 times. It is more damage (if you have CDR on conjuration GA w/ enough total CDR).

Sorry for super newb question on yet a 3rd party site, but how do you check it if in planner after you added the equipment to update the masterworking levels? Much appreciated.

a little hsort on time as im doing some sutff but basically you pick the class, you equip the item there you want to check, on the right side you can chose the masterworking level, and on lvl 4 8 and 12, you can click on the affix where its supposed to crit.
learned about it a few days ago myself as well. if you need further help, do tell.
only really matters for unique items, as they follow some own rules for whatever reason. for legendaries there is a spreadsheet which i can send you.
