I play group self found. I have never paid real money in D4 to buy gear. Over the last two seasons all my gear was either double or triple masterworked. I finished both seasons with over 100,00 Obducite and a couple billion in gold.
Today will be the start of week 3. It’s too early to start going for perfect gear because over the coming weeks you will find better gear so it’s best to save your materials and gold for a couple weeks down the road.
All my gear today is masterworked to 12 but it is nowhere near optimized. It does not need to be optimized to level up your glyphs or to level up your paragon board, or to farm gear. Once I get a healthy amount of Obducite and gold I will gradually start optimizing gear which is really good and unlikely to be improved upon.
