Masterworking reset is terrible also

Tempering bricking items is terrible as it can temper 5 times same affix but masterworking reset works the same way.

I resseted masterworking 4 times on the same item and every time it masterworked the same “bad” affix. What the hell is this? I know its RNG but holy cow, I dont want to play pit anymore. This whole system is rigged and I hate it.

We are missing any relevant info if it is rigged. But oh boi, this seasson I am having even worse time than in S4 with tempering.

Currently on 18x in row with never seeing 1/3 affix I want

It is hilarious when the same temper or masterwork happens 4 or 5 times in a row. Yeah right Blizzard. “RNG”. We’re onto you.

If we could select our masterwork then build up time to max power would be cut significantly.

This season, for whatever reason, my masterworking has been pretty lucky. Last season on my Necro it was horrible… just another RNG system like loot drops but this one at least has a known stop point to the next spin of the wheel

Until they add another required system for power level. Iam just worried how the pit will fit in the expansion because it can be pretty demotivating.

Yeah we’ll need to see. At least for now you have two modes that both provide an “end power path” which is what the team needs to be continually focused on - more paths for players to pursue.

It isn’t rigged but it certainly feels bad when you’re not making boat loads carrying players at 500m per run, and then selling off amazing loot you don’t need, so you can have 200b+ in gold to do pretty much anything you want.

it would be better if you could either reset to 0 , or 4 or 8 instead of only 0 in my opinion

This would be a nice addition with some farming mat cost (no clue what) as sometimes you just don’t reroll (on that with my Stormbringer pants assuming they fix the crit bug on them to Wolves)

I wouldnt mind if reseting would give mats back at diminishing cost.

ur welcome, can we close the post now. tq

there is a stark difference between being criticism and being cry babies. The fact I need to tell you this the irony of it.

True that, do your new statement apply to your old 1?

Yes, there is a valid criticism (why I dont like it and how it feels) and next post are my worries for the issue going forward and the next one is my proposed solution to this.

while we talk about contributing to the topic… so far i only saw one user gather information on wether or not the rng on tempering works.

3000 tries, and the results evend out.

i have yet to see similar effort from the people claiming that the temper rng is rigged.

complaining that you are unlucky in an rng based game isnt critic. its crying.

rolling a 3 sided dice 5 times in a row on the same side isnt really something thats uncommon.

Your ability to completely ignore any semblance of shame is truly an inspiration to us all.

Bravo.

It only took 3k tries to even out? Thank God!

a big sample size is needed to get proper results? it doesnt matter the slightest bit if you personally were unlucky on 2 items. such a sample size doesnt warrant a need for a change.
hence why i said, thats not critic, neither is it proof. its crying.
