Map(sigil) return for solo

Is it normal that it is virtualy impossible to map(sigil) sustain at high level of tiers?

Heres my experience so far :

  • Grind SEVERAL hours of lower speed tiers (30-60) to get sigil powder.
  • Craft map from the tier 91-100.
  • You’ll land 1/10 on 100, out of that tier 100 it’s most likely you hit mods that makes it unrunnable completly (crit dmg reduction, close dmg reduction, reduce dmg type from your type, etc, etc).

Then even of it all hits, not all maps are completable at this level, atleast for my class(and talent).

At first I thought, well I’ll just run those maps with lesser odds of success anyway in hopes of getting other maps. So far I have never got a single map back out of running 100s.
So this is all personal experience and could just be VERY bad luck over many runs but heres the plain facts :

  • It is unsustainable to do high maps. (Could be by design to make it part of the difficulty of it all)
  • It is significantly better to run as a group, 1 person puts in a map and 1-2-3 others reap the benefits as well as increase odds of map return.
  • It is very punishing for solo players. (lesser odds of success for many reason such as map mods hitting your specific build and its not like you can just swap your build around to run that map since its shy of 9 million gold to respect. Unable to be ressurected so losing lifes, group buff synergies.)

Right now my solution is to go on the d4 discord and carry pple for their key, thats the most efficient way for me to farm sigil powder. I don’t think this is a good state of game. Now I understand the game is still very new and theres aspect that will improve over time and thats why im bringing this up. Hope to see some sort of improvement for high tier sigil sustainability.

Any one else have similar experience?

Edit : Side note that map bosses seem to have the highest drop of map out of everything but not every map have bosses, not only that but pushing 100 pple tend to dodge map with bosses.
