I finished the campaing a month ago and now I want to start a new character from scratch, but it turns out that as soon as I start playing the campaign with this new char the map is 100% visible. Is there a way to reset the map so I can discover it again like I used to do in D2?

Aside from creating a new Blizzard account and buying the game again, there is no current way to reset your map progress.

Being able to reset maps is a cool function they could add for people like you.
Iām afraid not, as exploration of the map is tied in with the Renown system and the Renown system opens once = opens permanently per game mode (for S1 you need to login a non-Seasonal character for your S1 characters to have the map opened as well).
Yeah, I hope they make it an option along with replaying the campaign.
