Mangled Message is a Rank 1 objective to unlock a skill point. I’ve done the Butcher PvP event, Helltide event and multiple Slaughterhouses while using all three types of the bloodied affixes is notes, yet it didn’t unlock. Is it broken? Very frustrating.
Edit: As per NameUnknow creating a new char then talking to seasonal NPC fixes the bug.

On console, but same here. I’ve done all and can’t get it.
create a new character, and talk to first npc from the seasonal quest. It will give you the journey reward.
it might been cause i played when the server was having problems and it bugged the reward.

Looks awfully familiar. Last season, the same 1-skill-point-worth step of the journey could not be claimed either. Either the step at that index is bugged or players do not think the same way as the creators of the seasonal journey. Either way - not a good player experience.

for my case, it gets completed without me realizing it. not sure what the reward is, just occasionally got some message about rewarding some skill point or paragon point.

I’ve made several characters and even redone all the steps required.
That sucks. Wonder what bugged yours out. This season launch was horrible. with a lot things that went wrong. that needs to be fixed preventing other journey quest from being completed, like the pvp ones. i know few having problem with the magic/rare gear registering as well.
