Will it be possible to manage clans from the https://diablo4.blizzard.com/ website, outside of the game?
I think people are using Discords? But Diablo is using OTHER peoples’ discords, not one of their own.
How about from a technical perspective of which functions currently only exist in game like sending invites, accepting requests, issuing updates, updating roles etc that option in a web browser would be great, I don’t expect it to exist though any any point.
That sounds like something an individual Clan might do (in Discord) with their members (i.e. set up events, assign roles, providing updates, accepting requests). As of right now … the games’ Devs don’t even have their own Discord … but … they do use Twitter, almost exclusively, for Diablo 4 updates.
I personally do not use Twitter, so I am not “in the know” on that.
I believe clans are cross platform, but require you to be logged into game to manage your clan.
There is no PC or phone app that I am aware of that Blizzard has to manage in-game communities.
There was a really nice app for WoW but to be clear that was developed by a 3rd party. We don’t need Blizz to code an app for us but we do need them to expose certain information and clan chat via API.
That would be swell.
I just setup a clan, using discord for out-of-game things. I remember the days when people would make clan sites on Enjin or other platforms.
Discord is probably the easiest and most wide spread right now.
what do you gain by playing with others?
does monster hp/dmg/xp scale per person?
