As a Druid player I’m used to being abused.
But it always seems strange when they decide not to just nerf but render an entire build useless. Like how they gave fleshrender a use last ss and decided to make it a junk piece of trash in the next.
Never get this mindset. It is supposed to be about finding the middle ground not picking your favourite and killing the rest.
FOTM rotation is easier than balance and more fair than always having certain classes/builds at the top and bottom. I agree good balance would feel better, but with all the other things in constant flux that is either not currently possible or Blizz has decided it is more trouble than it is worth.
Yep, its just a repeat of D3 flavor of the month.
The crazy thing is that fleshrender and its builds have never been on the top once. A tier at best.
Next season it’s an auto salvaged.
I want to understand the balance team’s thought process but so far it is 404.
Most builds are useless. Plenty of core skills hit like soft soggy noodle slaps.
It’s going to be hard to put into words just how bad WW is gonna be next season as well. Wasn’t even that strong either.
Also consider patch notes can be deceiving. Even the Bliz team on the campfire admits they expect unpredicted things to arise so we won’t really know until we can get in and play it 
EG. Everyone thought firebolt was a dead build with flame shield changes but I believe the new version of it currently holds the highest pit clear of any class/build so…
This team is boggling to say the least.
Their answer to everything is to nerf it. Nerf mobs, nerf bosses, nerf uniques, nerf IH (you can no longer craft the compasses, only rare drop), nerf any build that is fun because they don’t want to trivialize the content… but they already nerfed the content so what’s the real reason then.
I have seen multiple game devs talk about how they hate gamers. Maybe these devs are on that boat too.
Maybe I’m being too hyperbolic. Maybe I’m expecting too much to want some stability from one season to the next. Maybe it’s Maybelline…
All I know is that they really need to stop being all over the place.
Yup feels like there are multiple smaller teams working on different aspects of the game and the coordination is barely there
I dint even know this build WAS a thing and it got nerfed.
It barely made A tier this ss with godly gears so it is a threat
So keep in mind that this is actually done on purpose and not out of ignorance.
It keeps people grinding new classes/builds which keeps people playing the game…
At this point I would hope people would expect game breaking bugs, over performing builds, and yet another dupe exploit when a major patch hits. If the builds don’t break the server they won’t be fixed until the next major patch. If they do break the server they’ll be fixed in an early-mid season patch, and people will complained they got nerfed.
I do think it’s funny that virtually every big game I play has significant bugs yet all of their communities treat it as this is somehow specific to that studio/game. all while continuing to play the game and taking time to post about the game on forums…
Considering what they did to Eternal, I am simply never buying a skin pack or Season Pass upgrade until they show some respect to Eternal. Not getting something to make a character “Look cool” when they completely trash it anyhow.
Gotta keep you wanting to buy the battlepass somehow…

Like they always do. This is not nerfing what they do… it’s destroying builds.
Yeah I’m super new gen. I’ve only been playing video games since around 1980 so forgive me for being new to the scene.
The point is that people moan and complain about how terrible the game they play and the developer who create it are, yet they still play and post about it. Not sure how you got something different out of it, but hope this clarification helps
ye druids … tbf with you … i donno what meta builds they got now … like right now doesnt come any build to mind that will survive in end game … its insane
