Make uniques enchantable

Most uniques are pretty bad at end game, usually because there are at least a few substats that are not very desirable. An easy way to improve this is to make them enchantable for 1 stat like all the other items.

Problem almost fixed.

The other solution to bad uniques is to create a bunch more. But then… you’d probly have to increase their drop rates overall so people can find the ones they are looking for.

Yeah, and then let us extract their unique power aswell!
On a serious note, I like that once the unique drops you just have less hassle with the item and all other slots too, it just drops and is what it is, just like in older Diablo games.
I’m against enchanting them, it’s one of those things that separate them from legendaries…

I would like to roll new values within the same tier range on an item. I really dislike getting a good item (or unique) and have bad roll values on it and there’s nothing I can do about increasing them accept for enchant it and hope it gives me the same stat with a higher roll…

For a few perfect gems (varied on different slots) and a forgotten soul, sure, why not, maybe even the legenaries would be fine to reroll this way.

It’s only “un-Diablo” until they implement it. It’s also, uh very exactly Diablo to do this. Diablo 3 had basically this exact approach via Legendary Gems and Kanai’s Cube and it helped allow for a far, far wider number of builds at end game and during progression. Arguably, Legendary Gems already exist in the game as the Glyphs.

In fact, I would not be surprised if we start seeing Unique or Legendary Glyphs drop to really improve upon the impact of the paragon board.

All of which to say that “being Diablo” is very exactly this.
