Its so depressing that they goblins die in vain…they are not even worth killing. They used to be fun, loved the chase, now its just a sad state of affairs

IRL I love chasing small people around and bashing them with sticks until they give me stuff, so for me chasing the Goblins around in D3 was natural. In D4 it’s still fun but they definitely don’t give as exciting loot.

anyways … yeah they are sad. i dont even chase them anymore. go free lil friend.
It would seem they have a daily limitation. Usually the first one I kill gives decent loot. Subsequent ones, not so much.
Well, that sucks. 
In Diablo 3 you had the chance of the rainbow level. They used to be worth it. Now they aren’t.
I got a horse armor cosmetic off one and a few good legendaries off some others. I still get a sense of excitement and hope it’ll be another cool cosmetic or something, but I know it’s probably just more stuff to salvage.
I just got a sacred legendary and a unique off one.
I’ve had very poor luck with the gobs even at 90+ always dropping sacred and rares in WT4
I have never gotten anything better than rare or sacred from them.
Indeed. The only time I can get behind that awful phrase.
Been playing D3’s current season this last week and have found no less than 25 or so, ALL DIFFERENT KINDS TOO.

I can’t even remember them all plus I have the ring that makes the gob follow and pick up loot with a chance to drop legos plus the rare gobs in whimseyshire etc.
But of course, we are NOT ALLOWED TO LEARN FROM PAST DIABLOS IN DIABLO 4
Possible SPOILER … but for me a treasure goblin in D4 dropped a stolen journal that started a side quest with no reward at the end. The NPC you return it to just thanks you but mentions a “realm of riches” during their own encounter with the goblin. My first thought was the D3 portal to Greed.
I used to kill them whenever I saw them. I see them constantly now and completely ignore them. Like the Butcher they’re a waste of time and drop garbage.
