Make the game more grindier

Ideas

  1. Temper resets more than one time
  2. Non GA affix to GA transmutation
  3. Reroll unique affix
  4. Infinite Gem upgrade
  5. Zir blood glyph
  6. Weekly pit leaderboards per class
  7. Able to trade mythics and craft resources
  8. AOZ

Are you serious with this or is this some weird joke?

Infinite gem upgrades? Trading Mythics? Transmuting to GA???

How does this make the game grindier? Sounds like you’re just altering items to exactly how you want them instead and being able to trade things people would want. This would reduce the grind.

Yeah Im serious
Infinite gem upgrades

X10 multiplied dust requirement for each tier

Super grindy yeahhh

Mythic trade yeah

Now high end players have reason to farm 4GA mythics to sell or trade for Multiple times.
Also super grindy as hellyeah
Casuals will get their trash 1ga mythic and quit earlier anyway. I dont care about them. blasters gonna blast for reason

Obdusite trades sure
Rawhide trades? Sure

Better than artificially designed roothold dungeons with Zero difficulty with Plentiful of over rewards

Just make GA transmutation requiring like 10 sparks and 250k rawhide 250k iron chunk

Make super duper grindy to craft an absolute perfect gear

These are bad ideas and dont even support your goal. All these things would make the game less grindy. You could just become a trade master and not even play the game at all as every single thing is tradable.

If transmutation requires a LOT of resource

Then it does make it grindier,

Imagine you need to salvage 1000 GA gears to get one perfect item, requiring a lot of salvaged mythics

I would gladly take this grind to make my character 1% more stronger

Elitism, elitism everywhere… (insert the meme)

I mean I wanted to say that everything @OP posted is exactly the opposite of what should be but kinda wanted to not be alone at this

Dude => the game is not intended for the 5% of the 5% of the 5% of the playerbase… You’ve got everything wrong inherently in approach directly

What needs to happen is SCALE DOWN and enrich (content) and allow more options to mechanics none of which is S-tier “broken” thing

You’re just elongating the game for the sake of it

Trading should be the main thing for ARPGs,

D2R, everything is tradable

trade master is not a bad choice to get powers

Even if deleting these idea parts,

Leaderboards are bare minimum required

My point is there are no viable game loops after completing the character.

Completing the character should not be the endgame .

Endgame should be focused ‘after’ character build is set

Competition is the best way. Casuals wont even join this party. I dont care about them anyway since they quit after 10days after season.

Endgame should be focused on players who play the entire season

More like everything is duped and then tradable. If you want to play Trade Sim 9000 then you should play PoE 2.

I dont play trade sim

I suggested ‘play to win’ method for grinding hard and putting time guaranting a perfection.

Anyway all of my ideas might not be the answer

But RNG based GA farm is stupid as f as for now

If I can re temper my 3GA broken wep more than two times, I will gladly run 50 NMD.

If I can get a one more guaranteed GA on my Shako, I can run 1000pits if required

Just providing examples

I agree that we need more reasons to grind. More crafting etc would be a good place to start.

Mythic trade would be great if duping wasn’t an issue, and if they were actually rare.

No you suggested everything should be tradable and its the main thing. This is not grinding. Grinding is playing the game for long periods but making everything tradable would not make the game more grindy. It makes it less grindy. Pick a side bro.

Why should there be ?, do you want an MMO or something ?. The problem is character completion is a “simple” thing

A terrible mistake that has been repeated for… 6 seasons at least

For 5% of the playerbase

As far as I’m concerned “endgame” should not even exist (until they fix the game baseline completely)

Make it harder, slower, with more experimenting and specialization for builds

“Endgame” should be a carefully thought afterthought almost entirely (not something forced onto the playerbase that is also exclusive)

IF you truly wanted a more grindy game you would be firmly against trading and would want binding on all items.

I guess unless you consider camping trade site 24 / 7 grinding.

Not that I agree with op but…

No. That’s not what d4 is and it’s not what the vast majority of players want.

D4 is a blasting looter where blasting gets dull quickly because of lack of content.

Harder, slower etc changes the game to something it has never been. It needs to improve on what it is, not become something else entirely.

Ok genius, how much of that infinite (content) has to be multiplied by zero (time to kill) so that it equals to something ?

We need contents for 5% of the playerbase.

They are the ones who play the longest, put times and actually makes alts and toons and buy skins for them.

I would gladly accept the super grindy pit blast for somekind of unique rewards.

Battlepass right now is super casual and I dont like that. That is fine i think.

5% wants to play this game for rest of the season, but right now nothing to do atm

Being rude and abrasive doesn’t make you right. It also doesn’t help you make sense. What does that even mean? What infinite content? Why are you multiplying by zero (time to kill) ?

It’s always the dumb ones who start throwing insults about intelligence around first.

Or maybe make mythics tradable for hight pit rewards or weekly leaderboards? Like bind these rewards for high end pit rewards, or just playing the game for a long time whatsoever

Have to Agree with Azure here. V1c1ous is being vicious for no reason.
