Make endgame be character level 10000

Why stop at level 100 ? Make it level 10000 !
Then level 100 players have something to look forward to. :joy:

I stopped playing at level 70, after playing the game for a week - The game got too boring.

If the game got boring for you at 70, why would you propose to make it 10000? It’s not like YOU would reach that.

Paragon level being almost infinite was one of the worst part of D3, keep that far away

For the grinders, to create the illusion of endless game content :joy:

Isn’t that the point of seasons?

Maybe
I find the game is nice to play for 50-100 hours.
In that time I probably collected 200-400 oranges, the orange drops sometimes had even been the same duplicate drops within one dungeon or within one place.
At some point, orange drops had been nothing special anymore. Overall I found the game to be too generic - The paragon boards have been implemented well, a nice integration idea IMHO.

I find it plays like a FarCry game, even the road blocks ( for horses ) are there

So many gameplay ideas could have been created, for example being able to ride a horse with 2 players ( team mate ). They worked so long on this game, I find the creative input too limited, considering the long development time and the large team size.

I like the free roaming of random players joining hacknslash events, by randomly coming along. Thats really nice

Unironic support for the suggestion, provided the xp required between levels jumps at least 10x at 100.

Unfortunately, that’s what it looks like. Once you get the ancestral eq, there is no carrot to encourage the player to continue playing. The lack of endgame content makes the game monotonous.

People defend that the game has only just come out and you would like content end game as poe has developed over the years. Poe is free, we paid $70-100 for this game. The game is unfinished and boring at the end game.

Not to mention the balance, which is practically non-existent because there are characters that are playable in the end game and there are those that clear the content 10 lvl higher.

We got the alpha version of the game for 100 bucks. Pathetic

I agree. I was unsure at first, at character level 60…But the Diablo 4 forumistas had been right, I came to that conclusion at level 70.

Was the game purchase worth it for me ? I find ā€œyesā€, but reading the forum about seasons…I think they will not create enough future content in nearby time for myself.
I will login to the game again in a year or so, to see if there is enough new (fun) content for me to play the game again.

I also believe that the $70 invested is money well spent. Until I put together the optimal ancestral items, I had a lot of fun.

Unfortunately, in my opinion, if the game costs so much, the end game should also have a lot of content. Even compared to the elden ring this game looks like an alpha version of the game.

I stopped playing because sorc is not playable with any build in the late game after ice shard which is boring and monotony has come to that.
I’m thinking of returning at the start of season 1, of course, if they balance this game anything because I haven’t seen such a spread between the characters in any game yet. And I’ve been playing for 20 years.

The characters in this game indicate the difficulty level

Zerk druid - very easy
Rogue - Easy
Necro-Normal
Sorc - Very hard.

Elemental res is useless. Nice game design.

I agree.

I see the game as a FarCry game, a one-time play-through title ( some may replay the game with different characters and have joy doing that ).

With ā€œFactorioā€ or ā€œCaptain of Industryā€ its possible to have ā€œendless fun foreverā€ , I find that Diablo4 is more a fire and forget game - At least for me.

BTW I spent over a thousand hours, over a year, in Diablo 2…back then.

This is EXACTLY what I came in here to say lol. I mean the endgame is already so boring just going from 40-100, let alone 40 to even 1,000 lol.

I love paragon levels in D3. That kept me going. Every time I played seasons I knew I’m gaining a lot more as my alts will get easier lvling. Also, each level gives power so on a long term I was able to progress through higher torments.

It was their best idea and worked for me 100%.

No problems for the bots lol

10 months later

It’s also ironic how people 10 months later STILL can’t see that @OP was sarcastic and basically criticising the leveling in the game being repetitive and not evolving at all

The worst suggestion I ever seem in these forums since I started to post.

Ermahgawd!

My Scouter barely reads power levels over 9000!

:scream:
