You really need to rule this with an iron fist. Start banning that account and any account they have had access to in the last ~month of fixing the bug.
Enough is enough, this is causing major interruptions to gameplay.
Start recording all trades. If someone trades BILLIONS of gold for seemingly no reason, ban the receiving account as well.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
