There are dozens of aspects with interesting effects that will never see use because it is always better to increase the already enormous damage output of a single spell by 20%.
It’s not like we haven’t been here before. The refactoring of other damage types into the additive bucket created diminishing returns that favoured a more nuanced approach to paragon nodes and itemisation. If the goal is to make uniques enticing and to support a wider range of meta builds, defusing the atomic bomb of stacked aspect multipliers only makes sense.
