I’m posting to try to see a correction on a huge problem with the translation of the game.
I’m French and I know that no one cares, but in Diablo 4 in French, there’s a huge problem of understanding in the translations.
In English there is the word “evade” which consists in the game of making a roll and which is translated into French in D4 by the word “esquive”. There is also the word “dodge” which consists in the game of dodging an attack and which is translated in D4 by the word “esquive”
What I’m getting at is that when you have the game in French you can no longer tell the difference in the descriptions if it’s “evade” or “dodge”. “Esquive” translates to Dodge, but evade translates more to “échappatoire” or “évasion”
