Epic for what? A mere goblin kill counter?
I’m missing something. Why do I need to track kills? I mean, if I need to know exactly, I can go to Kyovashad & click the gobbo pillar, but I can do that once a day or so. What’s the big issue?
This is not how you design a successful event. You design a successful event by making it last more than 1 hour and having fun rewards with cosmetics. Here is the blueprint to how this should have worked:
Perhaps you add a goblin vendor and earn reputation with them and can then spend it like an alternate obal system just for the 1 or 2 weeks.
IF you really want to start taking chances and making something amazing, then players can choose to play a goblin as a hero and escapes level their goblin which makes gobs they kill give a bit more and gives them new skills to try and escape more.
Always creative ideas. Sounds like an event I’d spend a lot of time on. Unfortunately it would also require work… and lately I get the impression they are way too big to be effective. More worried about smoothie deliveries than the players.
