Current Bugs:
- The Butcher has FAR more HP than Duriel / Andariel in T12 and is way harder than all other bosses, he’s even harder than Mephisto himself. This feels really bad for Barbarians who have to farm him for Ramal swords. Please fix this, it’s clearly a bug!
- High Tier Sigils (treasure breach, vile, etc) will be changed to Dungeon Delve sigils if you change difficulty (ex T12 > T10). Happens every time you change difficulty. For people who trade or help friends, it’s a major issue.
- Salvaging a Horadric Gem yields 100k of that gems materials instead of the 5 million gem mats that it takes to craft. Nice.
- Cannot trade charms in trade window even though they are not account bound. You have to trade by dropping on the ground which is sketchy.
- Butcher in The Pit can fail the run by being stunned. I also heard he instantly fails the run for certain demons despawning on Warlock. He’s also substantially harder on high tier Pits than even the bosses so it essentially kills that portion of the Pit board (and is not worth refunding for specific runs since it costs 100s of millions of gold).
Edits:
“Non ancestral (850) items cant hit a crit on temper” seems to be incorrect it just seems really rare to hit it and when you do the item becomes 900 ip.
“Mythic tributes disappearing mid rota” is due to an optional chest spawning during the run where a person selects it that then consumes their mythic tribute.

I always thought that if you wanted to Temper//CRIT on an item, that item had to have a (( * )) on it first.
Because of this, I never had any issues with master working/crit on an item. Or what ever the case may be.
Most of the time you want the masterwork to crit on the four primary stats rather than a temper. In those cases it always makes sense to masterwork first since that crit is then 1/4 instead of 1/5 if you temper first.

I think some investigation may have to be done. As I said, i never had any issues.
If I find gear that already has a * on it, I know for a Fact that tempering can get me a * on what ever I’m trying to Crit , and then I master work.
I’ve been doing this since the dev’s re worked the Master working from season 11.
No issues now about it. I’d say if There WAS an issue like this, most people would of voiced their concerned about it by now.

Oh damn Starless, according to Google you are correct that non-ancestrals (850) cannot temper crit only ancestral items can.
Warplans respec cost is 50 milions per point after a while. I didnt even respec for diferent activity I was just testing different nods and not even many.
The 100k fragment for the big gem is also awful happen to me as well.

Incorrect, I have made a normal legendary item turn into an ancestral legendary by tempering a Greater Affix onto the item:

But the gloves I had these affixes:
All dmg multi
Crit dmg multi
Crit Chance
+3 blessed hammer
I tempered Critical Damage GA affix onto the item
Also on a side note about the Horadric Cube and Ancestral Aspect hunting - TLDR it don’t work. Where you can upgrade an item from magic/rare to Legendary (it’s base is ancestral always) The Aspect applied to the item from the Cube CANNOT be the higher percentile of the Aspect range.
For example : I have upgraded quite a number of boots+flails
Holy Punishment - Not one rolled above 55% (Entire range is 40-60) and not just this but EVERY item i have ever upgraded has never been an upgrade of what I have and the rolls are exceptionally low.
Huh maybe it is bugged then? When I Googled if non ancestrals can get crit tempers it said no so I took that as confirmation Starless was right. Can you upload image to postimages and post the link? I’m curious to see it.
Edit: I did also just crit temper a 0 GA Mythic but those are ip 900 not 850.
Add the Butcher being stunned during a Pit Run having a chance to cause the timer to immediately time out and you fail the run to the list.
It’s… fun.

Adding to the ancestral/ga/temper thread:
Before LoH, we had legendaries (750ip) and Ancestral legendaries (800ip). GA was exclusive to Ancestral and they always had at least one. Only Ancestrals could roll a GA temper.
Now in LoH, i think some people are having trouble identifying the difference between Ancestral and not. Now we have Ancestral (900ip) and non (850ip). Any item can drop with a GA and an item can be Ancestral with no GA.
Here’s what to test:
- Can 850ip with no GA roll a GA temper?
- Can 850ip with GA roll a GA temper?
- We can assume that any 900ip can roll a GA temper whether it dropped with a GA or not.
Right, I noticed some items had like a “white..ghostly” kind’a thing going while reading the Stats………

My 850ip Gloves rolled a GA temper of Critical Damage and it became 900ip gloves. I’m trying for the life of me to post the screenshot/link But can someone help me on this ? I’m not that forum-savvy.
(4) is a feature. (5) is a nasty bug. Also, if you die early in the Pit and later you kill the Butcher, the run is still “failed.” Nevertheless, if you have the upgrade that spawns an altar to exchange Glyph upgrades for loot, you can still use it and get loot despite the run being “failed.”
Just ran 38 lair keys, 32 greater lair keys, and 12 Belial runs, torment 11, not a SINGLE nemesis portal. Seems like it’s been removed??!
I specked into that days ago and finally saw it for the first time. It is a bit too rare.
I’ve gotten them a lot so far, the last couple of days it’s been about one in every 10 lair hoard openings. Seems like the chances of it opening have been reduced a lot since a few days ago. When I first started farming them 4-5 days ago I was getting it about in every 5. Now nothing at all.
You might not have high enough trust level. Have you tried “insert link” in the format tools? If you can’t use that, you can post a broken link (to an image on a website) and someone can repost it for you.
