Maintaining REQUIRED Short-Lived Buffs Feels Bad in Games. +skeleton skill lag

  1. Please give us a passive option for the skeletal priest buff (via a talent etc.). IE: Buff is always on, but remove the heal portion. Buff is passive but is proximity-based w/ passive regen or dmg reduction…etc. In season 1 I’m totally fine completely having no heals for pets with the Sacreligious Caged Heart. (something that literally needs to be baseline for skeletons Imnotevenkidding)

  2. Don’t like that? Well, the current implementation might not feel so horrible if when I push the skeletal priest button it casts. There’s a lag time between auto attacks and being able to cast the summon skeleton skill that is completely flow-killing for me and kills the experience. Imagine you let go of the attack button you clicked the button for the constant short-term REQUIRED buff you need to maintain and it literally DOES NOT CAST. (yes I’m mousing over a corpse).

  3. Hell, I’ll settle for “Exploit Nearest Corpse” for this annoying game mechanic, even with the weird deadtime where the skill doesn’t even work. At least I can focus on aiming my other skills.

I understand the need for some builds to feel hard and give a higher degree of performance. A lot of people like that, but a lot of us are tired and come home from work and will settle for less apm without cutting-edge performance.

Regardless, I maintain that the skill not even triggering is broken and needs to be looked at.

You can get around having to use priest heal if you pick up the blood node that heals pets with blood orbs. If you use corpse tendril to generate blood orbs instead of apply vulnerable, which is super easy to do, you can generate blood orbs like crazy.

The heal isn’t what I see as required it’s the 30% damage buff for all minions. But that is a great tip for survivability. As I said, however, a sacrilegious caged heart makes me feel fine not worrying about pet healing.

Proximity buff is called hell bent commander.

The duration of the priest 30% damage buff is too short to manage during large fights imo - at least to successfully reach close to 100% uptime

My friend, thank you for the information. However, if I’m not mistaken that talent stacks with the “Skeletal Priest” buff of 30% damage. This does not replace it, therefore using the skeletal priest buff is still basically required to have 100% uptime for the massive 30% damage buff. I’m cool with that, but make it not feel like sh*t.
