[Main Thread] Unable to find license and authentication issues

Seems that this game is actually about trying to log in and being lucky enough to be actually able to play the sub game, called Diablo 4.

Getting real old Blizzard. You take our money and then can’t or won’t provide the service/product we paid for.
You refuse a request for a refund when I paid extra for early access and can’t log in or play during the early period.
Is there a way I can get a bot or something to actually play this game on my behalf given that Blizzard won’t let myself play?

by the way for the people just now getting into this topic or forums. This same exact error and issue happend overnight, and it took them more than 12 hours to fix it to the point where you could log in, but play with 1400 ms ping. So dont expect to be playing this game anymore this weekend. Maybe by the end of tuesday we’ll have somewhat stable gameplay.

Sorry mate, but this is a server problem.

I can’t even post in the General Discussion area of these forums because it says I do not own the game as of last night.

No amount of fixes on the consumer end will fix their servers.

Unable to find a valid license for Diablo IV(Code 315306)
for 8 hours now.

Now they claim it’s a DDoS attack!!! ROFL!!! Way to play the victim for subpar support to this billion dollar game. LOL!!!

Oh well, I’ll get my refund at least and 100’s with me. I’ll spend that 70 euros on a game I can actually play over the weekend :wink:

and your immediate assumption that blizz is straight up lying just to do what…? Leave one of their flagship games down to cost the company money why? I see no reason or motivation for blizz to straight up lie. So your disgusting assumption is also laughable.

It never has, but it does make it look funnier when you post to Reddit and other sites that Blizz hasn’t paid off to scream “Seamless Launch!” “All reviewers rave!” “All problems were minor and fixed in minutes”

Sucks for them that consumer laws differ per country, and some countries protect their customers for situations like this. Over here in Europe we’ll get refunded no problem. Worst case scenario I’ll just draw back the money via the bank. What are they going to do, block my account? So no different than the current situation :wink:

that may be so, but they still answer to shareholders and customers all the same. Diablo 4 is their biggest game to date. i seriously doubt they’ll let it sit idle or unplayable for no reason. every second their loosing money. so you can bet their doin all they can to get the game back up running. Just my point of view as a business owner.

They are lying to cover the fact that they cannot provide the product that they claimed they could.

Not only might they be liable to actually refund the game, their investors would look down upon them if it were ever known how actually fragile and terrible their always-online integration is.

So yeah, they have millions and perhaps billions of reasons to lie in the form of dollars they could lose if the public and the investors ever realized the truth.
