Cannot click the play button, still saying it’s waiting to be released.
same here, game shouldve launched 30 minutes ago yet i dont have a play button or an install button
Hey there,
Please check your system clock to make sure it is set to the correct time. (accounting for any daylight savings shift and such.) If it is correct. Try restarting the system and restarting the Battlenet Desktop Application. The game should be available for you at this time.
Restarted my computer, reinstalled Battlenet, updated drivers, set clocks to correct time zone and still don’t have access.
I’m the same. I even scan and repaired the game.
The same thing for me I have tried all of the same steps. I am on Starlink internet if that matters.
It also says that game should be available 6/6 even though I am on Mountain Time US.
I can’t even download the game.
I have purchased Diablo 4, but I can’t find the game in my account. I can’t even download the game right now. The game had launched 47 minutes.
Completed all suggestions but in the same boat as the rest of this people in this thread. Game has installed but unable to launch the game. Cannot click on “play” button
If you are seeing that you own the game on the Desktop Application and it is installed but you get the message “This game cannot be played yet.”
Exit the Desktop Application, Make sure it is not running and download the direct D4 installer, then run it:
This should force an update to the Battlenet Desktop Application and allow you to play.
If you recently purchased the game but still see BUY NOW instead of Install on the Battlenet Desktop Application. Double Check your transaction history on the website and see if the purchase shows as pending, queued or completed. If pending or queued, you will need to wait, if it shows as complete/shipped you can also download the setup file I mentioned above and try that.
If neither of those work, then I would like to completely remove the Battlenet Desktop Application and do a clean install as follows:
- Open file explorer/file manager (Right Click Windows Start)
- Navigate to the folder where the desktop application would normally be installed. Delete that folder if it exists (usually program files x86)
- Type the following into the address bar (not the search bar): %APPDATA% and press enter.
- Delete the Bnet and blizzard folders inside the appdata folder if they exist.
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 with %PROGRAMDATA% %LOCALAPPDATA% and %TEMP%
- Empty the recycle bin.
- Now reinstall the app to the C: Drive.
I have purchased the game but I am not given any option to install the game at all. I can see the game in my library but there is no install button anywhere. I have tried to restart the client as well as my computer. What should I do?
same for me! Also tried all the things you listed already lol
Same here. Bought the standard edition at 7pm and it ask me to upgrade version…
You’re a legend, Kershew! i’m in!!!
Anyone that I merged over from another thread, give the steps I offered in my earlier post here a shot.
I’m having the same problem on Xbox. Tried restarting and nothing. Clock is set to current time in EST. It shows I own the game but can’t do anything. Please help.
I can’t find the Diablo 4 game in my account, I bought the game on May. I think it is why I can’t install or play the game.
Didn’t work for me, still can’t see game in launcher or download game (with BLZBNTBNA000000C8 error)
Ok I tried the direct download link to no avail so I tried clearing all the battlenet and blizzard folders out of %PROGRAMDATA% %LOCALAPPDATA% and %TEMP%. Deleted them out of the recycle bin, reinstalled battlenet after clearing those out and still no luck. When I click the direct download link it prompts me with “You can’t install this game yet” and gives me a link to this error code; Blizzard Support - BLZBNTBNA000000C8 . I am logged in and I do own the game, going to my transaction history the Diablo 4 Standard Edition purchase is listed as status: Complete. I’m kind of lost here man
