Because they’re acting like they did nothing wrong and we’re to blame over this. Apparently we should know that our accounts get locked. I don’t know why they offer the option to assign a PSN to a different bnet account if it doesn’t work.
With the Ultimate version i bought, i can’t play the game even for one minute till now, it’s a shame !!!

Got to play a bit on Saturday until I linked my battle.net account and my PSN so I could cross-platform with friends.
Hasn’t been working ever since and it has been 48h! Navigating the support page from Blizzard is a joke! Can’t file for a proper ticket since they are asking for Mac or Windows file when submitting the ticket. @Blizzard, please explain to me how this is a required information when you ask for Console support? I’m genuinely asking btw!
I sure hope that when the game is released in a few hours, I will start having access again to the game.
If not, you can take the game away and refund me! Just like many others, I’ve paid for a service that I am clearly not getting and don’t want to waist any more of my time with this nonsense.
How can a company this size not come up with a clear communication regarding this issue? I also don’t understand why people would spend more money going above and beyond by buying another copy of the game?? This is insane!
And please don’t blame Sony for the issues, at the end of the day, doesn’t matter where the game was bought, @Blizzard as the studio, you are getting paid and it falls on you to make sure that as players, we get to enjoy a good experience especially when you wait over 10 years to get a new version of the game.
It also scares me a bit that they are not saying that it will be fixed tonight…because if they do not say anything and do not provide a solution, it is possible that tonight will not work either…

You would think with the amount of posts this has generated it would be enough evidence that theirs an issue that needs to be addressed. I understand trying to look good for your investors, but at the cost of the customer? The ones who continue to support is absurd. The way this was handled is such a shame.
Will this issue persist after full release? Does connecting your PSN to your BNET cause the error? Would be pretty game breaking for consoles if thats the case.
Blizzard’s radio silence speaks volumes. They don’t have a fix and don’t want to acknowledge that they made a mistake otherwise they will have to pay a bunch of money back to Sony. So instead they ignore the problem and pretend it doesn’t exist, hoping more and more people buy the game and drown out those of us who cannot access it.
If we get access once the game officially launches they will say everything is fine until a month from now when nobody gets their free battlepass access and the problem rears it’s ugly head again.
Blizzard, screw your profit margins, help the people who already paid money for your game who you are denying access to; instead of shipping Nerfs and Buff hotfixes have your devs work on fixing this problem.
Sony has been giving refunds out, they’re already going to be losing money from this.
that’s good for the people who didn’t get any access, I cannot receive a refund from sony because I got to play the game for 20 hours before linking battlenet locked me out. I’m stuck with no communication from blizzard regarding a fix, my support ticket has been open for 3 days with no response and Im being ignored by the CS twitter account when I ask questions. Really Ugly look for Activision-Blizzard

I’m sorry. Blizzard at least got back to me. They basically said once the account is linked I won’t be unlinked. Whatever battlenet account was associated with your PSN at time of purchase is what battlebet account is locked into the license. However, I do believe at 07:00 tonight any battlenet accounts will work to owners of the game. But we’ll see in two hours. I’m sorry again, I wasn’t trying to lessen your situation.
To be honest, im not that concerned about losing early access. Im worried that the other inclusions of the deluxe edition will not be linked to the correct battlenet. My PSN was never linked to any battlenet and I received a Generic auto generated ID when I logged in the first time.
If they tied my purchases to an auto generated account I would assume a GM will have to reassign the purchases from that Battle ID to the correct one.
I just don’t understand how they botched it this badly and then refuse to acknowledge it.
That’s odd. My PSN wasn’t connected to battlenet when I made the purchase but when I look at “My Games”, Diablo IV is here.
If they come up with other excuses, they’ll most likely end up with a lawsuit. Why let people purchase on PSN without a proper warning or disclaimer.

Absolutely retarded beahviour, while there tons of paying customers who dropped hundreds of dollars, planned their time off to play the game and they give nothing, not even a small piece of info .
At least an ETA like an actually working company does.
I finally got an answer from Blizz. They stated that you have to play it on ps5 with whatever account was linked at time of purchase. I’m gonna try to refund it on ps5 and buy again with a correctly linked account. Unfortunately you can’t get thru to PS support…
