It has happened to all of us, we have to wait until tomorrow for the final version to come out. if you bought diablo 4 on ps5 but with a battlenet account that was not the correct one and then you change it to the one that was, it will no longer work for you… early access will have been lost… they must have looked at that before… now we are all the same and it only remains to wait for tomorrow

If I link the account with which I bought the game on PS5 again, it lets me play and the license error does not appear. The problem is theirs, they should have warned me before buying the game if you need to change your linked battlent account. because if not then this would happen

Still having issues and its the 4th. This is absolute crap. Im still getting the license issue. Ive done everything to get it working and nothing is working. At this point im ready for a refund. Why am i supposed to wait for the game to fully release when i bought it early to play it ahead of the date? I bought the digital deluxe pack. You guys are scum for this.
Go search for Diablo 4 on Twitch. All those streamers have zero problems playing and logging in. This is sad they’ve left the console players in the cold because of their inability to accurately prepare for the early access surge. We are being punished for their lack of attention. Change my mind!
I did some troubleshooting. I have purchased two copies of Diablo 4. One from PSN and one from the Xbox store. The first Diablo 4 purchase was done on Sony’s PSN store with its own dedicated battle net account. It was working fine until this morning. It stopped working so I proceed to purchase a copy of Diablo 4 from the Xbox store as my kids play on that console anyways. This Xbox copy was setup with a second battle net account.
The Xbox purchase copy works perfectly with no issues. I decided to link my PS5 to the second Xbox Battlenet account and it launches into the game without issue. Out of curiosity, I unlinked my Xbox from the working second Battlenet account that I purchase specifically for the Xbox and linked it to the first Diablo 4 Battlenet account I have setup for Sony and the Xbox now gets the same error. I flipped back and forth and I was able to replicate this issue.
For now I linked both consoles to the second Battlenet account purchase from xbox. The original Diablo 4 purchase from Sony’s PSN store is not working and I don’t have any way to get a hold of Blizzard to correct this.

I have had this issue since i bought the game. Highly dissatisfied and hoping to resolve the issue. I only bought the deluxe to play early with some friends and could care less about the extras.
My ticket was created nearly 3 days ago and hasn’t gotten an official reply (besides the copy paste bull that was sent to people about their original server issue proving they didn’t even read my ticket). Who launches a game and then has everyone just leave for the entire weekend and not action or answer anything? It is wild.
I regret giving this company a chance again. I was going to stream it, but at this point it will be old news by the time they get around to helping me. Literally the worst customer service experience I have had thus far. At least tell us there is something in the works to fix it, Blizzard. I swear.

That is just making it even worse for me this entire time, honestly. Seeing my feeds full of people playing it, or fellow streaming friends going live and getting to end game before I even get to attack an enemy. I am going to try my 2nd attempt at a refund through PSN, but I already know what I am going to be told. I swear.

I agree, I can’t look on social media right now because I’m just seeing everyone having a great time. Don’t look at your friends list… it hurt to see 50+ people all playing while I am still getting the dang error.

Unfortunately i still have this issue i cant seem to play and its the ultimate edition i been going around in circles with different troubleshooting processes sony rep gave up on me and said just wait for blizzard to fix it since it 3rd party Unfortunately sony wont give me a refund due to already playing it for about 40 mins untill i linked my battle net to my ps4 after that i wasnt able to log back in
Yep. I just tried a second time to get a refund and the Sony rep talked in circles until they eventually disconnected. It was literally 40 minutes with still no result. I am so tired of this entire mess. I guess sucks to be me for not wanting to use a Battle.net account associated with my dead name.

Has to be this, it’s what i’ve been thinking since day 1. After sitting on the game and initially getting the license issue, I was able to log in before all my friends but it didn’t prompt me to link to an account, my ID was some BT:randomnumber: name and thought it was weird that I wasn’t linked to my actual battlenet account but all my friends were. I decided to log into my actual battlenet account on my pc and link the accounts directly, hoping it would help avoid further login issues but it prompted the license issue. It’s crazy that they haven’t found an easy fix for this yet.

Unfortunately until they reset the server prompting a wipe of current console logins and then prompting every console user to login into bnet before accessing the servers again there’s really no fix. Only thing I’m curious about is if it a gonna cause us to loose our characters that are already saved on a bogus bnet account.
Guys, just start reversing the transaction through your bank/card provider. We purchased something that we didn’t get and the vendor(s) responsible have shown no care or interest in fixing the problem.
Any bank or card provider should reverse the transaction based on those facts.
There shouldn’t be any reason why we can’t link the PSN account to a different battlenet account one time, especially given the 365 day cooldown and for those that found out you can’t play 2 separate copies of the game from the same battlenet at the same time.
This whole thing is poor programming by blizzard and poor service. Sounds pretty standard for Blizzard. Definitely a 0 star rating for Blizzard.
I can’t overstate how ridiculous it is that Blizzard is perfectly okay taking money while they have a broken account management system and have shown no interest in fixing the problem or compensating for their failure.
