[Main Thread] GPU Drivers Out of Date

For anyone using an old GPU, make sure your driver update version is at least 466.47. Otherwise you cannot run the game, period. Good luck.

The part that really stinks is the 770M specifically stopped at 425.31, so I think I’m pretty out of luck here. Thanks for the blue reply though.

Would there be any way to fix it when your driver stopped being supported at 425.31? My laptop is 870M and has a Kepler architecture that Nvidia stopped supporting after the 425.31 update. Is there any way for us to get in?

I was really hoping to get the wolf pack pup and try out the game.

Thank you, this was my problem, now its just the other stuff to get through, I’ll see how it is going soon.
I’m guessing the updated driver will help all the games I play.

I’m SOL on my desktop as graphics card is some years old (desktop itself is only 6 months old but my lappy which is about 14 months can play it. Very odd. Will have a chat with my computer tech on Mon about updating the graphics card on desktop.

I’m in the same boat here, how can we upgrade to a version that does not exist. I’ll be willing to play with reduced graphics. Spent the $100 for the opportunity to get to level 20 and earn the extras, now I can’t. Is there a switch to allow to run at lower graphics versions?

Can you get a new graphics card? I can and that should sort it for desktop

The 770M is below even the minimum D4 requirement of GTX 660.

And you can’t get a GTX 660? I’ve changed my mind on game and requested a refund after having some graphics issues on lappy. Not worth it if I have to upgrade graphics card and graphics on lappy have issues.

is there any chance to play with a GTX870M i mean diablo 2 resurrected works well and a couple other games also just a work around to play with this

i7
16 Gig ram
2x 1TB SSD
GTX870M

Howdy Everyone!

For those that are unable to update to newer drivers because there are none released please continue to post the following information.

GPU:
Current Driver:

We also have a work around that is helping some players, but make sure to still post the above information for the Development team.

  1. Open the Battle.net app and go to the Diablo 4 Beta game page.

  2. Click on the “Options” dropdown menu and select “Game Settings.”

  3. Scroll down to the “Additional command line arguments” section and enter “-bypassgpudrivercheck” (without the quotes).

  4. Click “Done” to save the changes.

  5. Once you’ve completed these steps, try launching the game again and see if the issue has been resolved.

GPU: GeForce GTX 1660 Ti
Current Driver: 27.21.14.5749

Currently not able to play game due to driver not being up to date. When I try to update my driver, it says it has the “best drivers for your device” already installed.
