Magic runes (Blue) are more rare than Legendary runes (orange)

Why are magic runes actually more rare than legendary runes?

Currently i am in situation where i have 56 Leg runes, 55 yellow runes and 4 blue rune and cant craft Uber …

I never upgrade those Magic runes i need for the Uber i need, and still i get so low amount of them.

You would assume that you will get way more Magic runes than Rare or Leg runes … So you can upgrade them for higher quality and so on … Not in this game.

you do get more magic runes than rare or legendary. the only place rares are more common than blues is boss ladder. so basically you spammed like 400 duriel runs and are complaining you dont have magic runes when all you have to do is anything else in the game.

I do boss rotas, realmwalker, horde, UC, PIT, Whisper caches Torment 4 , Helltides here and there … and i am still in situation explained above …

I should be in exactly oposite situation: a situation where i have way more BLUE runes, than i combine them to get higher quality runes.

Pro tip - do a few Realmwalker events and get 10-15 rune opals. Set difficulty to torment 1, use a rune opal, then speed farm Tribute of Harmony in Undercity. You’ll have a boatload of Cem / Gar / Moni runes in no time.

Why should i play T1 just to farm blue runes? Maybe instead D4 devs should give us an option to convert 1 Legendary rune to 10 Blue runes or something like that.

You definitely shouldn’t have to do it. I’m just telling you how to solve your current problem. Following that advice will get you there way faster than waiting for the devs to come around.

I am repeating myself … “problem with runes is that they’re barely visible on the ground when dropped. Should be a mark on the map like grey star, dot or something”

Set your difficulty to Torment 1, run the Undercity with Tribute of Harmony. You get only blue runes drop, you will get more if you found goblin at lvl 1.

I wish I can sell my 99 Tribute of Harmony to you to farm the blue runes. I am so lazy to do UC, I only go there when it has Whisper cache, it is tedious to click the tower to switch to T1.

I’m quitting partly over legendary runes for uber crafting. IDK what you all do but but the legendary drop rate has been abysmal for me. T4 bosses and UC mostly drop rares. I got one legendary rune in an evening of bossing. I finally found a realmwalker in Nahantu - they hardly ever spawn - and was excited to get rune opals. They gave me one extra rune in UC, and I just got blues and rares.

So here is my situation… I only hunt runes for : Starless sky, Perdition, Doombringer, Shroud, Shako. Every rune not in this category gets combined. I only use Torment opal for boss mats drops because i feel its the best opal ( more boss mats = more gold = more common mats = Whispers = more Ubers …)

Currently i have over 50 legendary and rare runes for the ubers i am hunting, but i have less than 10 Magic runes literally on every Uber i am hunting…

Apperently now i need to farm Rune Opal (which i don’t want to do), than i need to do UC on T1 with harmony tribute (i dont want to do this aswell) just to farm blue runes.

Lame design.
Hey D4 devs! Why dont you give us option to convert Legendary to Magic runes?

I have 6 to 12 of the blue ones, the rare ones 5 to 8. And the legendary ones, at most 3 of each. I don’t know what the OP is saying.
