Datamined info shows Mage Lord’s aspect is an offensive legendary aspect for Sorcerer.
Doesn’t it make more sense for it to be a defensive aspect given that it only provides a defensive bonus?
I’m pretty sure this will not be used if it has to take an offensive aspect slot, meaning this doesn’t improve sorcerer’s survivability in a meaningful way without sacrificing a significant amount of damage, which sorcerer is already lacking in compared to its peers.
Would appreciate some clarity on this before it rolls out next week.
Making it a defensive would be awful because then it would have only 3 applicable slots (assuming Raiment of the Infinite on the chest slot) and compete with more important aspects as well.
Just give sorc a new weapon slot like rogue and barb.
It’s ridiculous. Giving sorc a 3rd weapon slot to hold a staff and/or a 3rd enchantment slot would go a looooong way towards opening up more build options and making sorc more viable.
Are you playing lightning sorc? If so, what aspects are you using on helm/pants at the moment? Disobedience? Fortune? Might?
I’ll assume you’re using raiment on chest on and disobedience on legs. There is 1 defensive slot remaining which would be well spent on Mage Lords which could potentially replace aspect of might (which is hardly used at endgame) or aspect of fortune which can be replaced if you have sufficient lucky hit chance from other sources.
