Madman, Crowned will not complete

Madman, Crowned quest in the main line: Eru walks outside the council chamber, stops, I talk to him, he tells his story, but he doesn’t walk anywhere. Mission top remains “Follow Eru” but he just stands there. If I quit and restart or go do other content he’s back in the council chamber but the mission always stops in the same place.

Same issue here. Wish it gets fixed soon since its the main quest. Tell me if you find a solution

I had this same issue. I fixed it by restarting the game which started the council chamber scene from the beginning, then when you go out and speak with Eru, position yourself so you are in line with the pathway to the northwest. As soon as he stops his initial dialogue, before he says follow him, start walking down the pathway and keep walking, he’ll follow until you get to the entrance to the under city.

I tried it and on 1st try he walks i’d say 20 feets then went back. Then multiples tries without having him move and then one time he moves 4-5 feet. Its like he’s hitting on an invisible wall and turn around

Same here. I see there’s a 256 MB download right now, so I’m installing that then will try some more.

I was on a satellite connection, ping ~750ms. Eru would never take more than a couple steps in the right direction.

Switched to my phone just on a hunch and it worked first time.

Seems like there’s some kind of race condition in his script. If you can find a quicker connection just for that interaction it might help.

I’ve posted about this too… i put in a ticket and had them respond with a walkthru for the quest.
I’m also on satellite connection… but with no way to change my connection type.

I assume most of you are trying to do it on Torment 1 or higher…take it down to Penitent and Eru will follow the motions he’s supposed to. Worked for me… hopefully it works for y’all too
