When will we see mac support like there is for D3??
Knowing Blizzard, youll play this on Android before Mac support.
Go intel, you can do it!
I’m not a Mac person by any means, but could you run boot camp on it and have it work if you booted to windows?
i honestly though questions for mac died with them in 1999 guess im out of touch.
this is probably a troll post, but diablo is part of microsoft today or soon next month.
microsoft isn’t too fond of apple, so… go buy a pc or xbox
Yep, justice for Whoopi:
Whoopi Goldberg ends war with Blizzard Entertainment over Diablo IV game: ‘I got a refund’
World War Whoopi Goldberg has officially reached its peace treaty era.
After publicly criticizing Blizzard Entertainment for its new Diablo IV video game’s incompatibility with Mac operating systems (her platform of choice), the Oscar-winning Ghost actress and The View moderator issued a ceasefire Thursday morning in the form of a sweet Instagram Story addressing the company.
“I just wanted to let everybody know that I got a refund for my Diablo game. Blizzard, you stepped up and I thank you so much for it,” the 67-year-old star said while her hair sat in curlers backstage at The View. “I really wish you’d been able to make it accessible for Apple, but I understand that it’s out of your hands now because it belongs to Microsoft. I always thought you guys were stand-up people, and it turns out that you are. Everybody, they gave me my deposit back. I’m hoping that yours is on the way. Again, thank you, Blizzard. I very much appreciate it.”
Shes got money she can go buy a real pc quit simping for the elite losers
Its not even 1% of the gaming community play on Mac.
Unless there are major changes to Mac hardware/software infrastructure and how it supports gaming, the answer is never.
Blizzard does not do Mac support for any of their more modern releases starting with Overwatch. Only a few legacy Blizzard titles still have limited Mac support for now.
Older titles like D2 (2000) they stopped all Mac support for as well.
Mac was easy to develop for. Then it was hard to develop for. Now they’re trying to make it easy again. I wonder why nobody wants to develop for Mac.
There is not enough demand, small customer base. Not worth the effort.
Well, since Apple wants everyone to play by their rules, I’m going with never.
This isn’t an Apple Hardware/Software problem. They simply feel they’re not making enough profit to justify the effort. It’s a marginalized platform in the gaming world just like linux. Let’s call it what it is.
I’ll just respond like any Apple user … but green text bubble is ughhh.
Since they are lazy… If you have a M1 or M2 Mac base computer just look up whisky and you’ll be able to play D4 pretty easy. What I been doing since sold my gaming laptop that only got 30mins of battery life.
M1 Pro 16g ram I run on high settings with no issues at all. M1, and M2 has the power to run it fine through 3 layers of porting on the fly.
What is it with mac people. Get yourself a pc mang ![]()
