I love it when I see under leveled people always dying with the world boss. Or the people who do not even help but swoop in at the end for all the loot.

Or, maybe a level 30 should not be joining a level 100 WB.

I havent done that many world bosses. Maybe 10 at most. Just did one today. They last a few minutes every time I have been to one. What kind of group are you in that you cant land a hit before its dead?

the big ones i can few hits but legion no i got lucky once did solo vs goblin boss that was fun

Oh legions. Yeah thats stuff melts instantly. World bosses have taken at least a few minutes from my experience. Maybe legions will have a rework for expansion time with the stat squish and stuff.

Legions not WB… and… Legions is an opportunity for a potty break or to get a snack. Just park yourself at the campfire & come back in 3 minutes, pick up loot. You want to kill stuff, proceed to Helltide or do some dungeons all to yourself.

When I thought you really meant WB a tiered system seemed interesting. But for Legions it’s silly. They’re up too often. Catch up & you can melt the mobs too, meantime enjoy your free mats.

I actually enjoy doing this with my LS Sorc. Stand near Blood Maiden just spam FO/LS. No one gets a chance to kill anything  Blood Maiden dies instantly by the time it pops up.

It’s annoying when you are trying to kill anything but it’s a blessing if you are just there to level up. I wish someone would do that for my alts

thats just stupid why its called legion ? peaples who made this game sick 100%

At level 55 the world boss can no longer kill almost any player

Lead, follow or get the hell out of the way. Sorry but it’s just the way it is.
Also, in legions, there are several paths to take when progressing. Maybe try the road less followed? That way you have a chance?
Anyway, GL&HF

wb on hardcore is so entertaining. you know right away who are the softcore players that thought they would give hardcore a try. dying left and right because they go glass cannon or are following some build guide

are you referring to menstruation maiden or Avarice & Co.?

for the maiden, yes, i’ve seen necro able to stacked up some blood circle thing and blasted the maiden off even before her spawning animation gets completed.

while for Avarice & Co., even meta build’s crits has been “resilient-ed” to thousands only.

Black Myth Wukong. D4 has no combat

World Boss now has a 2-4 minute lifespan, so you should try to land a hit before it dies. However, your damage may be too low to hurt it anyway.

This basically seems to be an inherent characteristic of the game, due to its shared world and (almost inevitably) not-so-well balanced classes or rather their builds :person_shrugging:

If you play a season’s meta builds, you’ll be the one slaying everything and rushing through content, leaving nothing alive in your wake, apart from the other players you leave behind. If you just play on your own accord, trying to figure out well performing or entertaining skill and mechanic interactions without consulting wikis or guides, or maybe even preferring suboptimal “flavored” builds, you’re quite likely the one being left behind

This might be boring or disappointing or even frustrating, subjectively, but it’s ultimately the way the game works. Focusing on specific content can mitigate that to some degree though
I’d suggest concentrating on content that doesn’t have as high player concentrations as Legion events often have. Instanced content like Infernal Hordes can be fun or open world content such as Helltides, the latter at least when staying away from the Blood Maiden ritual locations

The whole game is a trash collector simulator, starting from lvl1, gain some 5-6 levels on your own and get a defensive ability, good to go

Join a group in HT and follow them, there will be someone who’s 30+ leading the “charge” and just stand aside and collect the loot after maiden falls… Repeat a few times, do your class quest, then do back the same again about 10 times more

Then in WT3 do NMDs to level up glyphs as much as possible, kill Elias and then do the same in WT4 (join HTs and stay away in a corner :P)

Which is why I never liked the concept of HTs being available from early on (special thanks and courtesy of Blood harvest for introducing the whole fiasco), and there should’ve been more careful approach regarding the design of early levels… But hey, that’s what people want :person_shrugging:

Enjoy being a trash collector until lvl80 or so (then finish your glyph leveling just before hitting 95 or 100 whatever), and voila, you can finally play something (blast or struggle, depending on FotM rotations) now on your own

Gerasene demoniac, chapter 5 of the gospel according to Mark: JC demanded to know his name, and he said “We are legion.” He then exorcised the demons inside him, sent them into a herd of pigs, and sent them off a cliff to their deaths.

IMO all the demons should be piggies, but that would be borderline blasphemy.

Summary

Incidentally, he demanded twice to know his/their name, before the demon(s) told him. That’s a plot hole. You fill the hole by realizing it’s a rewrite of the story of Circe turning Odysseus’s men (a “legion”, i.e. soldiers) into pigs to eat them. Odysseus (who hadn’t gotten drugged up by eating her food) confronted her & asked her twice who she was, before she told him.

In both stories, the demon(s) already know who the hero is - in the original, she’s afraid he’ll kill her, but isn’t compelled to tell him who she is until the 2nd demand. In the ‘retelling’, they’re afraid he’ll kill them, and should’ve been compelled to identify himself/themselves the 1st time (bc God)… but the author is winking at us.
