Yep, seasons is the way to go 
The game never really ends…it just changes from season to season. You’re always going to be doing something different, in a different way for the next season.
Take a break for 2 weeks before season 1 comes out and rinse/repeat.
So go run greater rifts into the sunset… you dont do anything else except bounties for the unique act materials, and there was nothing else to do.
Greater rifts weren’t even that astonishing, or exciting. It also took them two years to release greater rifts, after launch. If all you want is endless dungeon crawl though, go play Torchlight. Diablo 4 already has NM dungeons and helltides, and with the seamless overworld being something “new,” I cant wait to see what this game turns into over the next few years.
You can explore the world and help others players.
Delete and reroll, or reroll but do not delete. Up to you.
The way things are going with it it’ll turn into a Diablo game with more mmo elements added to it designed to waste your time.

I’m going to play Crono Trigger and wait for Season 1. There’s just too much not known about the future of D4 until it happens. I could be ecstatic and come back to grind another 100+ Hours or feel like I wasted $70.
If you don’t feel like playing then don’t. Invest your time in what you want to. Maybe pick a game from Steam that you’ve had your eye on since the Summer Sale has begun
This is my first time playing Diablo online game. (well, i finished the campaign at d3 xbox 360 ofline few years ago).
I play most of the time alone, i got lvl 100 as ice shard sorc, i killed lilith with god damn lucky (thx northwar) and i feel like… empty… lost…? i dont know.
the game is amazing until you reach lvl 70. after this, all loot is the same and the LEVEL OF NIGHTMARE dungeons really doesnt matter. I did NMD lvl 60-70 for few times and a lot of 40-52 and I CAN AFIRM the loot is based at YOUR character lvl (u just have to be fighting moster 83+).
I did all renown and well… level 100 end game is boring.
IMO what i see in diablo is u must to play 1 month max between the seasons… and i dont want to make any alts ATM, just at the season…
if the nightmare dg got some buff for higher lvls, COOL. But there’s no reason to do high lvl… loot sucks

Game is over at 100, even at level 75ish when you are decked out in ancestral gear.

Alot more players stopped playing because of the uncapped leveling. Could you IMAGINE the out cry more so about PvP if they had uncapped leveling. WAH a level 546 killed me at 100. Then you will be like Oh make PvP zone Tiered based on level… Cool sounds like a good Idea… Man this zone is dead im level 5000… Rest of the D4 player base still under 500…

Funny, in that game you can restart but keep your stats, gear and character. You can have your own seasons in chrono trigger if you want
Doing things outside the house honestly… I will just do a few NM dungeons a day now. Game was really addictive for about a month.
Yes yes I’m fully aware that having an honest job is being a loser nowadays. I should stream my sleeping and make 10x more profit.
