I will share the info on the lucky coin. The group has not agreed. Some are afraid it could be disinformation as we have only confirmed it on 2 accounts.

But it was replicated under the conditions provided by the first account.

Know that telling you this will ultimately cost me access to further information and discoveries within group. I will effectively be shunned from the Horadrim I helped form. But I have decided.

Here it is:

Step 0: we are unsure of any prerequisites, we have had a player with 100% completion drop the coin and a player with 99% completion drop a coin.

Step 1: log into your sorcerer, teleport to tree of whispers.

Step 2: from tree of whispers head south to the ghost boy in the swamp who points around. Map will be provided of how our guy farmed.

Step 3: farm snakes and other unique elite NPC in this specific farming area: it took our guy 3 days of farming to get a coin from when he contacted us to when he got the drop.

Things to take into account:

  1. We don’t know if this method is locked to sorcerer only.
  2. We don’t know if dropping tbe coin has prerequisites.
  3. We aren’t sure what specifically drops the coin, the member who last dropped the coin had it in his stash tab for legendary/uniques that don’t get picked up. He was however constantly farming hawezar only as instructed by the original coin dropper.
  4. It is possible our explanation doesn’t have the full truth, that’s why we need your help to narrow down exactly what needs to be done, we replicated the drop we need your help to do it again.

I no longer have access to the map but it was the swamp area where to boy points that he farmed on sorc.

Thats how the first guy also said he got his.

I will not share the juicy picture I have of the condition trigger out of respect. Enjoy your lucky coins.

Information isn’t meant to be hoarded but shared. Especially in the pursuit of attaining good faith and finding others who have the drive to solve the greater riddle.

You can say I’m lying if you want, but if you do whatever both of them did in hawezar on sorc you should get coin. Unless there are other unforeseen circumstances or conditions attached. Both of them got it on sorc in that area. Both while farming snakes.

Just a follow up question, there’s currently nothing you can do with said coin is there, similar to the stamina potion?

You can throw in a well in scosglen to get the well wisher title. Not sure if you can do anything else with it.

You probably need to get the title as a prerequisite to other actions.

No idea tho.

After you get the coin on one character, all your characters have the title

I haven’t heard of an account that has had multiple characters drop a lucky coin yet.

It looks like a quest that fulfills for your whole account, but we don’t know that for sure yet.

There was a guy who got the coin on barb or druid who said he hadn’t even opened hovel yet on that character at least.

He provided screenshot of coin and title.

It could have some prerequisites or it could just be specific open world area farming on a timer, and if you don’t fulfill the farm by the timers end it resets.

Good news is it appears the coin will go to your stash tab for legendaries and uniques you don’t pick up. So if you visually didn’t notice it because it’s a white item on the ground you’ll still get it in the stash.

I personally think each class has a zone to farm the coin in, each in a separate region. But that’s also just a guess based on reports of what classes have dropped coins doing what and where. Which is all data that isn’t well established but is something.

Our guy did recreate a coin drop doing exactly what the original guy told him to do. And now I told you.

I’m not too familiar with the coin itself or the lore behind it, but is there anything in the game that currently references the coin before you find it? Such as a side-quest that makes mention of it, or a particular NPC that talks about it?

Oddly enough there’s several reddit posts of people sharing screenshots of the Lucky Coin they received during helltides. Extremely rare chance by the amount of people who make a brand new post asking what to do with it though, all of them provide screenshots of the coin at least, some even say which Helltide, one German player in particular said he got it from the Kehjistan Helltide.

To me it just seems like an extremely rare drop, probably about as rare as finding an Uber Unique in the open world. Probably one of those Easter eggs the devs threw in the game for fun.

We know both our guys got it by farming hawezar constantly for days. They had a farming route because the first guy knew exactly where it dropped, he picked it up off ground.

Second guy didn’t notice when it dropped so it went to his stash tab.

Both guys did it on sorcerer farming the same region of hawezar for days.

That’s a weird coincidence. The fact guy 2 replicated the drop within 3 days of being told how to is the important take away.

Could it be tied to helltide kills in hawezar on sorc? Maybe but personally I don’t think so, I think it’s the area for sorcs to drop the coin and it’s just a rare drop or it’s on a timer and kill clock for sorcerer in that area.

The important takeaway is that guy 2 had done everything in game possible. Opened hovel on 5 chars. All 100% completion.

Only thing he didn’t have was a coin. 3 days after this explanation he had a coin.

Oh I have no doubt they did, just saying the majority of reddit posts say they got it from Helltides, some do mention it does get sent automatically to your stash if you don’t pick it up though, as it appears as a white item on the ground and doesn’t stand out like a Unique for example. Also why I believe it’s just an extremely rare drop out in the world in general, regardless of what you farm.

Coincidences do happen of course. Also should be noted that people who have found the coin on reddit are all different classes as well.

I personally will chalk it up to chance myself, however if people would like to recreate the experiment on their own, by all means, maybe they can find a consistent way to farm the coin.

All you gotta do to get one yourself is play sorc and farm the snakes from where the ghost boy points to the left down right up back to the ghost boy.

Not sure why but that method worked for both parties involved on sorcerer specifically.

Both had the intent of farming a coin. Both were trying to do something based on a hunch at first then confirmed data at second.

You said it still took days though even knowing where the farm spot is.

I don’t doubt they both found coins, I just personally won’t be spending 3 days farming for it. More power to people who get the coin and the title though, good luck out there adventurers. :+1:

The farming spot is the most efficient way to kill snakes.

The point I’m making is each class probably has a different creature type that drops the coin.

For barb and druid maybe it’s a creature class that’s found more often during helltide In those regions those classes are tied to.

Hawezar nobody likes snakes because of the stuns.

Most people don’t do open world farming unless they know it’s for something specific.

Highly, HIGHLY unlikely. Makes ZERO sense it would be a different drop for different classes; that’s just begging for controversy.

I think Diablo IV has had quite enough of that, no way they would be this obtuse.
